No way car is giving up necas for Svechnikov. Also, Nielsen adds nothing to any trade, nobody wants a overpaid 4th liner who can’t score

Trade thoughts NSH PHI CAR
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Talos213</b></div><div>There's not really any incentive in NSH trading one bad deal for another. They'd only save $750k. And from DET's perspective we'd saddle ourselves with a $6 mil deal for 2 extra years. I don't see a fit</div></div>
You’re right, as a cap dump I’d doesn't really make sense for NSH and that ms too much term for Det. One thought I had though, was for both teams to eat salary as I edited above. From Det perspective, they get a far improvement over Nielsen and a guy who has had good chem with Mantha from worlds, and after Nielsen’s contract expires, they get him for a reasonable price. From NSH perspective, they get an immediate cap dump of about $2 mil and 3 mil if they just bury his contract but pay an extra 1.5 for two more seasons.

I’ve seen the Fleury trade a few times before, I like it but most Car fans seem to over value him compared to Svechnikov. Pass on Tuch

Detroit desperately need defense
Don’t think Det trades Bert. He is the junkyard dog type player that contending teams need. Obviously, Det is a few years away from contending but he’s a core piece they our building around. The only core type player I see Det trading is AA.

Need a useful forward leave suggestions
Zucker always seems to be on the block for some reason, not sure why. Cody Eakin has been thrown around a lot in the last year too. Det would happily trade Helm or Glendening for a mid round pick.

Trade with Buffalo thoughts
Nope! Wings need offense and although the D has been bad, we have the pieces in place to improve in the next year or two. Ristolainen is a turnover machine anyways. I’d prefer a future d core comprising of
Krug Hronek
Cholowski. Seider
DK. Kaski/Lindstrom
McIssac

7.5 for Bert long term will turn him into the next Abs. I’m sure he’ll produce better but he will never live up to a 7.5 billing. I doubt he’ll ever top 60 pts, prob be a consistent 40-50 pt guy as long as he keeps getting min with Lark and Mantha

Sign Connor OS Point Trade Laine Buff Retires
The prob you have with offer sheeting Point is that he has to actually sign the Offer sheet. He likes it in TB, and because of FL tax laws, he can take much less money and still be pulling in more than what he would in Canada

Ottawa Senators signed Thomas Chabot (8 Years / $8,000,000 AAV)
Win win scenario! He’s overpaid now while they are in the gutter with a ton of cap and he’ll be a bargain the last 4 years if they ever get back to a competitive team. Note: I say competitive because they will never again be a true contender

Alexis Lafreniere sweepstakes
Seattle ex draft won’t affect any rookies who get their first games or 10+ games this year; that was last year. So, Zadina, Veleno, and Seider could all play this year without issue (not that they’re ready). Ras, Cholo, Svechnikov, and I’m pretty sure Hirosi, Lindstrom, and Kaski, are all ex pick eligible

This is by far the most unrealistic trade I have ever seen!! You know darn well that Holland would never pull that trigger without retaining at least 25% of McD’s salary... I mean c’mon, did you even research this??
