Maybe so for Point (maybe pasta) but they also took longer to come into the league so I wouldn't have them ahead of the 3 elite players at the top

Overall after the first couple days of free agency the Kraken have gotten considerably worse from the players they needlessly lost and the ones they signed.
Also not sure I'd say Bunting was a good signing for the Canes just yet, time will tell with that one.</div></div>
Fair enough as they are only two year deals so not much risk

Yeah not the end of the world because it's only 1 year but Mike Reilly and Gustafsson would have been cheaper options that are functionally similar (apart from their handedness)

Vancouver seems to really want cap space and it seems like they really don’t like Garland (especially at that contract). There were rumours they were looking to dump him just a few weeks ago with some even suggesting a potential buyout.
That being said, if I’m the Leafs, I’m willing to go higher

Not an Isles fan haha.
Exactly! Goaltending is so unreliable season to season that beyond the top, it is hard to grade.

Classified him as a center as he played quite a bit out there this season. If I was to replace him, it would be Mika Zibanejad taking his place.

Originally had GIbson on the list but he has not been good over the past few years. Price could be on the list based on how good he is when he is hot but his inconsistency and poor results overall don't warrant it

It seems like the Leafs want one pure defence “shutdown” line in the bottom 6. So moving mikheyev up to the more offensively oriented line would go against that. I hope Keefe scratches Simmonds but considering both he and Thornton played every game last year (when healthy) makes be doubt that

Liljegren is, so he’s probably in the AHL again and is the first player up in case of an injury. Joey Anderson is waiver eligible and I doubt the leafs want to lose him so I think he gets a shot

Olympics Prediction - Team Canada 2022
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>babouie</b></div><div>MAF HAS NEVER BEEN CHOSEN BY TEAM CANADA HE WILL ALSO BE 38 YRS OLD BY THEN , SO WILL BEGERON BE 38 BY THEN , BRINGING IN COUTURIER AND OREILLY MAKES BEGERON REDUNDANT I LOVE HIM BUT AT 38 COUTURIER IS BETTER ESPECIALLY ON THE BIGGER RINKS . NO CHANCE TAVARES IS ON THE TEAM . STAMKOS , BARZAL AND SCHEIFLE HAVE NEVER PLAYED LW AT ANY LEVEL OF HOCKEY . HUBERDEAU IS NOT CANADAS BEST LW ,</div></div>
Fleury is a Vezina finalist this year, so unless he falls off a cliff next season it is very likely that he is chosen, even at age 37.
Bergeron is still regarded as one of, if not the best defensive forwards in the game, and I don't imagine he will lose that reputation to the point of not being chosen next year, even at age 36. Couturier very might arguable be the better selection but I don't imagine he gets in above Bergeron, especially with his existing chemistry with Marchand and to some extent, Crosby.
I didn't pick Tavares but I don't imagine him completely being out of contention.
Every Olympics, Canada shifts centres to the wing and I imagine that will continue to fit star players like Stamkos and Barzal into the team. Scheifele is an extra.
You could move Point/Marner up to the first line and Huberdeau down, matters based on the specific coach.

GM is under pressure, and wants to make a push while Gio is still good. Yes, they should rebuild but doing so might mean that Treliving will get fired
