What teams would be interested in Carey Price and Shea Weber
Price wold have to be Seattle, would sell jerseys and be a star to sell on the new team. Weber would actually be pretty easy to move as of this off season I believe when his actual salary drops and you can find an owner wanting his cap hit to meet the floor but not actually pay the player.

Bipolar Price Fans
Price has had a weird year this year. He has started slow the past few years and caught on in the second half but when struggling he generally is just average at everything, this year he has one of the best high danger save percentages while having one of the worst save percentages for seemingly stoppable shots. Seen him make saves that he shouldnt have a chance at seem routine this year and then just absolutely wiff on some that should be easy stops, like I said, weird inconsistent play this year.

Webber to PHI
Weber likely only gets moved when his salary drops next year and he is valuable to a cheap owner who wants to hit the floor but not pay real money to players

When the NCAA season is over
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>oilersguy</b></div><div>I think so it is just that I have heard a bunch of people so that he might be NHL ready</div></div>
He has looked really good but most of his points have been in the back half of games when Wisconsin has had a lead, also hasn't faced other teams top talent as most of thier focus is on Caufield. Its also a bunch of pressure to throw on a kid that can easily just stay in school for another year, get stronger, faster and develop to a level where he probably can come in comfortably in EDmontons top 6 instead of being moved down the lineup if he isnt ready.

I can see that value for Gaudreau but MTL would have to resign him right away or be guaranteed he extends. You dont get KK unless they know they're gonna have more then a couple years of Gaudreau

Trying to Fix the Sabres This Offseason
You're severely over valuing Hall. he hasnt played well this year and you're asking for almost double what NJ got for him last year.

3/4 of these trades have the Habs sending the better player to the other team, while adding a sweetener. Doesnt make any sense

Prospect and a pick. Tatar had 61 points in 68 games last year and although hasnt lived up to that this year is still worth a 1st and a prospect if MTL retained but covid may even throw that value out the window because of quarantine. So honestly up in the ait but id want a 1st and a propect

Thought Eichle was 2016 draft and Werenski was 2015, my bad. Either way the point stands that he isnt as valuable as Eichle

Eichel and Ekholm
Neither team takes that deal. Werenski has been hurt all year, is older and not as valuable as Eichle, Domi has looked like a player the Habs are happy they got rid of and Mrchenko isnt close to making up the difference.
Ekholm can get more from another team when NSH moves on from him.

I think the Habs take that deal. Tatar would be moving on and Laf could replace him and Kotkaniemis new contract money would be used for Danault so it definitely works that way.

Sabres Deadline plus Eichel Trade
Buffalo will have to retain money on Hall no matter where he goes and I think you should look to what NJ got and take some value off of it to see what they're likely to get if they move on from him.

Flames NEED a top 6 winger
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SmartGM</b></div><div>They would do the trade because in 2021 to 2022 there's only cap room for one of Tatar or Danault. Also Tatar is now a top nine with Montreal Bennett always been a top nine. Bennett produces in the playoffs Tatar doesn't. Bennett plays center and wing Tatar plays wing only with young centers like KK Suzuki and Evans. Bennett has grit Tatar doesn't....</div></div>
Tatar gets over 50 points a season, Bennette doesnt, Tatar is a top 6 forward, Bennett is a bottom 6 forward, one is not like the other. Habs likely keep Tatar as thier own rental, doubtful they downgrade to get a 15th pick in this years draft.

Hall is playing worst then he was last time he got traded, he would be with whatever team he went to for less games and you want basically the same value as NJ got from Phoenix? Doubtful.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TJTwolf</b></div><div>Would be a terrible decision, and if you're re-signing him you're giving up who now? No re-signing Saad for starters. He's not going to be happy in the lesser role and that makes it an all round bad trade. Unbalance the locker room which is something the Avs do have working well. In one of your own teams you had him re-signing for 5.5m? Where's that coming from? For a 3C? The 3C idea I'm on board with but this is NOT the way to go about it at all.</div></div>
1st rounders have been given out for lesser players then this, it's time for Colorado to start going for it since they can afford to take on salary and stack thier line up. A late 1st isnt anything to them at this point to give up, you can look at a bunch of contenders that gave up 1sts to go for it that were worst off then Colorado is now.
