Trades I would like to see
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BOLTLOVER1</b></div><div>Yup u nailed it .. Sergachev should fetch more in my opinion but what we could get for Sergcahev at TDL and avoid 2020 contract .. he should be moved

Man you need to give the bolts hate a rest. It's not even like an opinion anymore its just pure hatred towards every player coach and manager on a gamely basis. Gourde was not atrocious vs the pens, no his ceiling is not the 4th line, Sergachev is not terrible in fact if you watch him you can see growth on both sides of the puck. Yes JT miller has 10 points on the canucks, big deal. You know what is also a big deal, getting 1st round pick from a bubble playoff team like the Canucks. Miller plays top line minutes in Vancouver and saw mostly 3rd line minutes in Tampa, obviously he's going to have more points. He was never going to move up the lineup he was never the fit everyone thought he would be in tampa's top 6. You make that trade every day of the week if your JBB, other than Johnson he was the only one outside of their star players or top prospects who warranted a 1st round pick, especially from a team like Vancouver. There had to be a cap casualty somewhere along the lines and moving the guy who didn't fit within the core of this roster obviously makes the most sense. Yes as fans we should be critical of our teams play and decisions from time to time but on almost every single Lightning agm all you do is trash on the organization which makes me wonder why your even a bolts fan to begin with if you hate everything they do so much. Live by the bolt die by the bolt brother.

One trade that I think makes a whole lot of sense given buffalos right and left handed d balance and tampa's cap issues is Jokiharju for Sergachev.

Again I can't see it. I think Raddysh is a posibility and so is Katchouk. I also did an AGM where Joseph and a lesser draft pick would go the other way because he is someone who they might not be able to afford next season anyways

This doesn't appear to be enough for Manson anyways, this looks like more of a package to yield someone like cam fowler

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>In this scenario Stephens is probably expendable since Jankowski would be taking over the 3C roll and is far more proven</div></div>
Stephens will most likely slot in as 4RW or 4C next season given he is a responsible 2-way player who brings physicality and heart. He also shoots right which other than Raddysh the bolts don't really have many prospects of that hand. Stephens is a bigger part of the future of this team than most people outside of the organization and the fan base realize, I would be extremely surprised if they move him.

JBB Deadline Plan
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AndrewLadd</b></div><div>They’re still screwed cuz of that vasy contract anyway</div></div>
If you read the title of the post this is about the 2019-20 trade deadline and not the 2020 off season. The bolts have a problem that most teams would kill to have, great depth making team friendly tickets. And by the way I wouldn't call a 25 year old goalie (who is arguably if not unquestionably the best at his position in the entire NHL) locked down at under 10 million through the prime years of his career being screwed.

Katchouk would be the most likely they are also really high on Stephens, they are counting on both Volkov and Stephens to come up next year full time so someone like Katchouk or Fortier who are a little further away would be more likely targets

Volkov is off the table it would have to be a lesser prospect for a rental especially if a first is also included

Blow it up
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>puckhead6130</b></div><div>You should keep Dumba.</div></div>
I was strongly considering it, but at this point in Minnesota's rebuild they need to stock their system full with as many high end prospects and draft picks they possibly can. By the time they are ready to contend Dumba's contract will be up, so I think capitalizing on his value right now with 4 years left at a cheap cap hit would be worth it. I think in the Dumba trade they get 2 top tier prospects in Broberg and Lavoie plus a first round pick and the JP project I just think it might be too good to pass up. But that's the whole point it would take a significant offer like this one for the Wild to truly consider moving him.

TORONTO HAD ZERO LEVERAGE AND HAD TO PAY A TEAM TO EAT THAT DEAL. Boston on the other hand, has room, and can maneuver still as we have already started the season. Sure it is a cap dump but lets not say these scenarios are the same. They arent even close except for 2 players that had similar cap hits that werent worth it.</div></div>
Your right they are not the same, Marleau is still an NHL caliber player which the same cannot be sad for Backes

Won't happen this year without their first but I can definitely see SJ blowing things up in the very near future, especially moving some of their older players on bigger tickets while they can still get value back for them.
