Eriksson Trade with explanation

Demko is untouchable for the Canucks at this point. Also, the senators won't get both Woo and Lind. Its the first and second, Lind and a 3rd or Woo and a third.

Eriksson Trade with explanation
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BradDillon17</b></div><div>Too extreme
That’s Virtanen (1st rd pick), 2nd, Lind/Woo. Lind/Woo very early second round picks but would go first if done over. You’d be lucky to just get Virtanen and a second, Lind/Woo isn’t happening</div></div>
The questions becomes do you value Petersson and Hughes more, or Lind/Woo. The Canucks need to dump Eriksson's $6 Million and this is price you have to pay. No one is gonna help you out of the kindness of their heart. You cannot sign the current players you need to re-sign and the big 2 next year.
I personally believe the most likely assets here are the draft picks. However, that is not up to the Canucks. If teams are demanding Woo or Lind as the big piece coming back in order to create that cap space, guess who your trading... Woo or Lind

I find Johnsson interchangeable with Kerfoot or Bracco in this trade. Other than that it is a very fair trade

Nylander Solution 3
In order to get Parako we would need to do Nylander and a pick. One for one would work if St Louis was crunching the cap or looking to trade parako but not when we r the ones offering a trade.

Nylander trade your thoughts

We would have to trade a first just to even equal the value of the players in this trade, plus like u said that sweet deal deal Rakell is on another first just to please them. Maybe a roster player to but at that point it’s not really worth it. A one for one Nylander for Rakell would work (with a 2nd to say thanks for the contract)

Ur embarrassing leaf fans here. Vancouver's first round pick is worth those guys alone plus more. Josi is on a team friendly contract and is a top 2 guy, the price starts with Nylander. Idk what to think about the last one
I did read the description but this is just directed at anyone who (for some reason) think this would go through. Have a good day man

Fair enough. Lou has started rebuilding the Isles well and I have confidence in they will be turned around with time.

Without JVR and Bozak on the team hopefully we r a bit better at back checking. People think our defence is a horendice and won’t get better but it’s all in development. Liljegren next season, Dermott for a full season, Sandin I’m 2 or 3, Dursi looks pretty good. It’s all in the a year or 2

I’m not 100% on Dermott being a top 4 guy yet. Maybe that’s why they haven’t traded Gardiner. They want to give Dermy another season playing before he gets more time

I don’t see why both teams haven’t at least discussed the idea. Myers could play with Morgan. Hainsey with Nikita. Dermott with who ever

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LoganOllivier</b></div><div>Nope, all kinds of nopes. While I agree Marincin is a great penalty killer, he hasn't shown that he can do much else. If anything I would just make sure the team plays with enough discipline so they don't have to kill many penalties. Also I think Carrick moving next to Rielly with Hainsey playing with or trading Garinder for something and then moving Dermott up to the 2nd pairing the Hainsey to the left side of the 3rd pair. Carrick doesn't get enough credit and hasn't been given a fair chance from Babs.
Unless Marincin outshines everyone in the preseason, he's not going to make the team.</div></div>
I feel the same way about Gardiner. I did lost one before where it was Him for Tyler Myers 1 for 1. Both guys can’t be kept by there current team beyond this year and both fill needs of ours (Leafs and Jets). I think this is something to consider but it would be last resort. Again, I saw it on TSN, not my first idea

Key word there, could. The Canadians can get centre help from anyone else, but not the leafs. Kadri is a great 2 way centre who is a great fit for the leafs. If Dubas were to trade I would be so angry. The Canadians traded there only top 6 centre like a bunch of idiots, deal with it

Kyle being a bit smart
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Subbanator7667</b></div><div>How is taking Montreal’s top 5 pick in a draft that scouts are saying has up to 3 first line centers in it helping them? I think your really over valueing Kadri here. Your in win now mode but you will Tavares for the next 8 years, Mathews is 21, Marner 20 or 21 I can’t remember and Nylander is 22. Your in win now mode for the next decade, adding an elite piece that is cost controlled for at least 5 years is the far smarter move.</div></div>
A guy who has proven himself as a very good checking centre versus a pick that has a success rate. U don’t trade him! I am not overvaluing him, I’m worrying about competing for a Stanley cup, which trading Kadri for a first isn’t.
