That's a big overpay for Chiarot. Liljegren is one of our best defense prospects. I wouldn't give up a first and a second on top of that for a guy with no term.

For Dermott, a first, and a second we could get an experienced player who can actually move the needle instead of an aging and overpriced Leddy. Experience on its own does nothing.

Strome just seems a lot more one dimensional than Kerfoot. Sure, Kerfoot's not exceptional at anything, but when we have injury trouble or need some flexibility I trust Kerfoot to fill in wherever they put him in the lineup. It's not that I don't like Strome, I just think that Kerfoot is already a proven commodity and I'd rather not give him up.
