Vancouver cap dump
Why would Vancouver ever want a 30 point player who makes 5.5M when they are desperate to shed cap space??? And for the next four years no less. Only way Van does this is Allvin and Ruthford have strokes at the exact same time.
So Vancouver gets a worse draft pick, a worse player and a worse cap hit and a player that is a B prospect at best.

Demko does not want to be traded. And if he did.....LA or Anaheim would not be his choice. He is from San Diego. Ask 99% of the people from there.....they hate the whole LA area. In fact, in a recent interview, he said exactly that.

Hawks literally give Toews for free.. He's probably retiring, or signing as a UFA to a contender for one good last run.
And Nylander is worth way more than Miller. To the point where even a decent sweetener + Miller < Nylander still.</div></div>
Nylander is one dimensional and will be looking to cash in as a UFA after next year. He will hold out and someone will be dumb enough to give him 10M per season....it better not be Vancouver. How exactly is Nylander worth "way" more than Miller. Last three years Miller had 227 points. Nylander had 209. Miller hits, wins faceoffs, fights if necessary. Nylander does NONE of that and gets less points to boot. So please explain your parameters that make Nylander, "way better". The only place Nylander is "better" is in the hair department. Is that what is important to you?
Basically, this trade has Vancouver trading Miller plus a 2nd rounder for a one year rental of Nylander. Terrible trade.

There’s absolutely no way Hubderdeau doesn’t rebound huge next season. Anybody who dismisses or forgets what he accomplished last season and throughout his career is both short sighted and delusional
The Flames are by far a better Team than Van, so it’s pretty ridiculous to be claiming and shouting out the things you are when you and your team are at the bottom of the heap</div></div>
Don't project your inadequacies on me. Hubie has had only two good seasons in his career. And that was playing with high end team mates. Of which, the flames have none. Bottom of the heap? Van had the same amount of wins as the flames this year. And Van had to play with AHL goaltending for 1/2 the season.
I'll be sure to remind you of the "flames are better" next year.

Management in NO WAY want out of the JT Miller business. If they did, he would have been traded long ago. The flames would have to add a 1st and a 2nd for Van to even consider this trade.

I’d much rather have all those guys than lazy + no defence Boeser
You seem like an angry disgruntled person looking to take your personal frustrations out on others and their teams here on CF. Hope things are okay your way, but you come across very sour, which is very off-putting to be honest</div></div>
How am I off? Boeser had more ppg than ALL the players I listed. Also, brock was PP2 for half of the season.
Enjoy 50-60 pts at 10.M for the next 8 years. Haha.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MoxNix</b></div><div>Changing the subject again? This post is about Boeser not Mangiapane. However...
You're comparing a one dimensional slow lazy player sheltered with mostly offensive zone starts who's the 2nd worst plus/minus on his team (only OEL is worse) to a hard working two way player with good speed who's a plus player while playing practically the entire year (except the last few games) on a shutdown line with mostly defensive zone starts.
Boeser is nowhere near the player Mangiapane is. The funniest part is the shutdown player going up against other teams' best players actually has more goals than the supposed goal scorer in a sheltered role.</div></div>
You are right...Boeser is no where near the player Mangi is. Cause Brock is actually good.

Easy to see that Brock was playing with an injury. A much better player in the second half of the season. Still has a wicked shot and now added playmaker to his arsenal.
