With that massive upgrade in the offence, are you going to assume that either McElhinney or Condon turns into Grant Fuhr?

eichel trade idea

That fantasy trade is the closest to the Eric Lindros trade in terms of trade value which is something that help the Nordiques/Avalanche turn their Franchise around.

eichel trade idea
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xqb15</b></div><div>Vegas would have to give up that package minus Stastny and either Tuch or Hague just for Eichel. Remember the Avs got Girard, Kamenev, Bowers, Hammond, 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd for Duchene. Eichel is a far superior player, and Reinhart is closer to Duchene than Duchene is to Eichel.</div></div>
You got a point by saying that Vegas MUST overpay "hardcore" to get Eichel but Duchene trade shouldn't be a comparaison.
no one is going to use the Duchene as a comparaison because it's a heist. If Girard wasn't that good and the 2019 1st round pick was in the 20th-28th pick, its still a W for Sakic
The best comparaison will be the Eric Lindros trade.
Now that I think about it, Colorado and Nordiques has had the habit of hiring robbers as their GMs
- Pierre Page traded Eric Lindros for the Sun and the Moon which includes Peter Forsberg and assets that will be used for the Roy trade.
- Pierre Lacroix: Robbed the organization's once most hated rival (i.e. Habs) of Patrick Roy
- Joe Sakic: Duchene trade

Sharks are better off keeping Blichfeld and that 2nd round pick, which will most likely be equivalent to a late 1st.

Not enough for Gaudreau anyways and Suter isn't waiving for Montreal.</div></div>
then again Gaudreau doesn't have a NMC/NTC so Flames can trade him wherever they want

Hall
Now that I think about it, I don't think the Avs should acquire Hall or else they might be stuck in the same situation as the Leafs when they signed Tavares. Rental is unlikely to happen because the Devils would probably want to maximize the trade.

Top Goalie To Avs as usual

He's not for sale and have full NMC. He play a career in front of horrendous team . No one can say what is career would have been on a great team like Avs .
Price contract money goes descending .. Last two year are at 7.5 per you take out 2M that ridiculous money . You will get an average goalie for that . We can keep him without ANY problem .
Lacking respect to Price is like saying this world class boxer is not that good ... Laughable .</div></div>
If you know he has a <strong>FULL NMC</strong> , then why bother to do this kind of trade knowing the Price will <strong>retire as a Habs</strong> ???
If he wanted to join a contender and have a better shot at winning the Cup, he wouldn't have signed to that contract <strong>1 year in advance</strong> Carey Price will retire as a Canadiens.
It's not that people disrespect Price, it's because Bergevin gave Price a contract considering his previous achievement without considering future performance.

Oh god, isn't hard to understand. Carey Price is the Erik Karlsson/Jonathan Toews of goaltending. They are all paid based on what they have accomplished in the PAST. They are going to retire with their current team given they're a shell of their former self and their contract.

slow down. I wouldn't put Caufield the same category as Rocket, Ovy, Hulls, and Bossy. Phil Kessel, the previous record-holder of the goals in the US U18 Program is not even close to those goal-scoring machines you mentioned.

if you want an ideal Caufield comparison, try to pick someone with Caufield's size (DeBrincat, Brink, Perfetti, Gallagher, Gaudreau, Zuccarello, Gionta, Spurgeon, Byron Sheary etc.) Although I wouldn't compare Caufield to players like St Louis, Dionne, H. Richard, Cournoyer)

Lafreniere is the first QMJHL player since Sidney Crosby to score at least 40 goals in his rookie season. Nuff said
I think he could've challenged Jack Hughes for the 1st overall pick if he was born a month early.

Ranger fans also did this with Anderson last year. He had this untouchable trade value.</div></div>
one thing for sure is KK is not even close to Pierre-Luc Dubois level.

Domi
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AJC13</b></div><div>I don't get it, what's so funny? Kotkaniemi had 11 goals - 23 assists - for 34 points in 79 games last season. This season he's got a whopping 3 goals - 2 assists - for 5 points. Yes I'm comparing Kotkaniemi with Howden who's getting 4th line minutes of playing time and had 6 goals - 17 assists - for 23 points last season in only 66 games. This season he's got 3 goals - 4 assists - 7 points - averaging less ice time than Kotkaniemi. Kotkaniemi has proven nothing thus far in his career and when he was drafted 3rd overall in the draft the experts thought Montreal was stupid for drafting him that high. Montreal stupidly drafted for the centre position and not the best overall talent. The hockey word is laughing their as$ off Montreal so desperately over reached for an average at best centre so high in the draft. Then traded their top prospect for Drouin a winger whom they desperately hoped could play centre.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Subbanator7667</b></div><div>This is brutal for the Habs. I would look at Domi for Skjei and your 2020 first though. Other then Kappo New York doesnt have the prospects for KK and we all know Kappo is above KK.</div></div>

Erik Brannstrom was the best "key" asset the Sens got in the Mark Stone trade so either Timmins or Newhook will be the key asset to the Hall trade. Depending on Shero's negotiation, he could get a 1st round pick.

Then again a Hall trade would've to be a sign-and-trade because Shero would want to get as much as he can from that trade considering Hall has already lost value from wanting out of Jersey
