A road map for the Sens

Can't even deny it. Fully healthy Norris is still worse than Konecny lol.

I'm just gonna stick to the question that was asked of "Sens fans, would you trade Tkachuk for Celebrini" and while this might be considered foolish by others, I think my answer would have to be no. not that I think that at their primes, Tkachuk will be a better or more valuable player than Celebrini, because who knows. But yknow, you factor in all the usual things with Tkachuk. heart of the team, star player, long-term contract, captain, cornerstone of the rebuild, all that jazz. then Ottawa would also have to think about how this delays the rebuild even more, and makes the (hopefully) competitive window even more wonky.

OTT would declines this, OTT would have zero interest in dumoulin and a C prospect and a 2nd dont cut it for Chabot

Move em both. Send the 2nd the other way and add Oleksiak into the deal.

I'd assume this is a july 1st trade that comes with an extension? Sanderson is just Chabot but better at everything so he's easily expendable to me.

Does Ottawa want to get their draft pick guy
Pretty sure Ottawa will be happy with whoever they select at #7. The last time a trade like this happened was in 2008, this is more than that price.

a 1st seems like a lot to move 2 spots but deals like that don't happen so there's no real way to judge how fair that is

Definitely not worth it. They get way more value out of their 1st by using it to address the roster, or by just drafting a player.

Kraken Off Season 24-25
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheBoyDuddus</b></div><div>Yeah statistically his worst full year in the league, can't really speak to Seattle's season as I didnt watch them much but it seems they had him on the 4th line. To be fair to Tanev, he put up the same numbers as Burakovsky and Yamamoto just with more games played. A point more than Tatar as well so it would seem that a lot of players had down years with the Kraken.
On another note maybe theyd be a good fit for Chychrun? Dont see a lot of mock trades for him to Seattle, Dunn is solid but Dumoulin, Oleksiak and Ryker Evans doesnt seem like an ideal left side.</div></div>
I do think Chychrun would be a good fit there for sure

2024 Flyers
Minnesota is going to give up their 23-year-old first-round selection who is expected to be their #2C for at least the next five years and is still on his ELC for a 30-year-old #3C with a $3 million cap hit next season? Not even if the condition on that Pittsburgh second eventuates.
Chicago and Utah tell you to take a hike, too. You think that the Stormin' Mormons are going to give you their best player for Joel Farabee and risk the Flyers regressing from 19th in the League to 23rd or worse?

Thank you for the feedback. I think it could be any team in the east but had seen some interest from Ott and Buf on B.Tanev so just chose Ott.

I think for all the reasons it would be a good gamble for the flames, it would be a bad gamble for the sens

I still think Ottawa would rather just keep Pinto and then obviously you'd have to remove Frost from the deal, but a 1st + 2nd + Laughton would definitely do it for Chychrun, imo. Sens could probably even then throw in a 4th or something as well

no real interest for Ottawa. Pinto's expressed lots of interest in being here long-term and he's a known commodity here. Frost is obviously a good young player with plenty of value, but I don't really see Ottawa having any reason to swap Pinto for him. and then the rest like, idk, it's just whatever. a very late 1st a year from now is far from exciting and Laughton is like, good, I guess. maybe they'd consider the Chychrun for a 1st and Laughton part of the deal

Sens
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TheBoyDuddus</b></div><div>He’s said multiple times that he wants to sign in Ottawa since the trade. Correct me if you’re wrong but I think what you’re referring to is the clip after the last game where he said there haven’t been any contract talks yet. The team hasn’t approached him. But if the apprehension is his willingness to sign then I hope that helps.
With that said, you can keep Kupari, Ottawa doesn’t need or want Heinola, Iafallo is okay but is he really worth 4m/year and Rashevsky seems like a huge question mark. The return would need some work for Ottawa to consider it.</div></div>
I'm just saying that the faulty premise of this ACGM is that Chychrun won't sign in Ottawa, as if he will sign in Ottawa, they'll just sign him and we won't have to worry about this trade. However, if he won't sign in Ottawa, then he also won't sign in Winnipeg, so that is also valid.
Plus as I mentioned, he'll be making too much money on his new contract to play 2 LHD in Winnipeg.

I'd be very surprised if Ostapchuk is ever a top six player.
