I wouldn’t trade anything for Laughton. His analytics resemble Kubalik and Hamonic

ya thats how you build a winning team, by trading 26 Yo top 6/4 players for 34 and 33 YO 4th liner and 3rd pair dman and late teens to early 20s 1st...oh wait that is how you end up folding/relocation franchises, my bad

Retain 50% and hope for the hanifin return despite hanifin being a much better player</div></div>
Maybe if they wait until the 2025 deadline, but if he's traded in the off-season the return will be better (unless he refuses to sign a new contract). The only reason Hanifin returned what he did is because he was a rental who didn't give any assurances to Las Vegas that he would re-sign with them prior to the deal. The pressure point isn't as high in the offseason and there will be more interested parties.

Sorry, MANY of my fellow Sabres fans are seemingly OBSESSED with Tkachuk
Can u blame them though? 🤣🤣🤣
He’s be a great fit for us
But i also get how all these ACGMs are annoying,
especially considering u guys are VERY unlikely to actually move him
Sorry again for us, we’re just desperate to make the playoffs

Much too steep of a price. One or the other, maybe. Certainly not both plus a 4th.</div></div>
My guess is he misheard and it was Chychrun or the late first plus another pick.

probably wants like 6.5M or so. maybe pushing for 7 on the high end. I’d be surprised if he took less than 6 for a long-term deal though

Thats the rumored trade between BOS and OTT, no brainer for BOS but way too much for OTT imo, also Ullmark would say no to go to OTT
Giving Foegele 4mill a year for multiple years is not a great idea, there are better top 6 winger options

oh man taht would be perfect
if we wanted to go back to the nightmare 3 goalie scenario we were struggling with for over a year.
but if we dont want that hot garbage, maybe we dont waste assets on 30 year old superfluous goalies... helping a division rival.

Montreal finally cleared their goalie logjam, you think they're going to pay any amount to create a new one for a goalie whose paid too much for way too long?

well, the bruins would certainly top that offer....for heinen.
The swayman offersheet, it's a good one. I don't think the bruins would have an issue paying him that much, but four first rounders from a team thats certainly not guaranteed to be in the playoffs would be tough to pass up. I just wonder if Swayman would sign it. If his offer from boston is 8 years 7 million, i'm guessing he signs that over this deal.

Blackhawks trade up and Isles get an extra pick.
Wouldn't shock me if Lou is active this summer based off what we have seen so far
