<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jrader17</b></div><div>I didn't say I expected 3 lottery picks. I simply explained that in the deal you laid out, in each of the player swaps Garland for Drouin, Pitlick for Byron, and Buch for Kulak the Coyotes get older and more expensive. In EACH of them. Seriously look at that deal. EVERY Canadiens player in this deal is OLDER AND MORE EXPENSIVE than the Coyotes player coming back. Which I then followed up by saying a mid round 1st and 2 other late in-round 2nd and 3rds wouldn't make up for. It just doesn't make sense at all.

I'm not a blind homer, I literally point by point broke it down and then you just ignored all that.</div></div>

You're splitting hairs. For one, Brett and Bush are both 27, so right away you're spreading #fakenews.

1) Kulak is a + player that has played twice the amount of NHL games and has over 40pts --- Ilya only has 10pts in 132 total games and is a -18
2) Byron (altho yes, he's older and much more expensive than Pitlick) had 4 consecutive seasons of scoring over 10 goals, two of which were 20 goals seasons --- Tyler is a journeyman with one thing going for him, he's a cheap serviceable 4th liner.
3) Drouin (yes he's on LTIR and for who knows how long) is one year older than Garland, and yet has played 393 games with atleast 3 seasons of 40+ pts --- Conor has played less than HALF those games and has not one single season of more than 40pts...
4) Yes, the habs players are more expensive i'll give you that. But as with Hossas/Datsyuks contracts, the yotes will surely start to take on cap dumps to accumulate picks they've lost as they aren't going anywhere for a while.

and So i'll say it again, even after I clearly did not ignore a single thing you said... I appreciate your insight and you trying to prove a point, but the "facts" that you bring up have no grounds whatsoever
