<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>phillyjabroni</b></div><div>BLM protests white policemen shooting unarmed blacks (around 258 blacks died b/c of police killings --&gt; doesnt specifiy race of police or whether it was justified)

Focus should be on culture change (6k blacks are killed by other blacks {around 93% of all black murders}

It appears that BLM only matter when a white dude, in a high pressure job, unjustifable kills them. Not the other 6k</div></div>

Contrary to what the folks at Breitbart, Daily Wire, Daily Caller, Redstate, and Fox News, among other sources, might tell you, blackness itself is not the issue. Poverty is the lurking variable; poverty leads to poor education, which inevitably leads to crime. Moreover, if you're clustered around many others of your race, chances are that if someone commits a crime against you, they'll look like you. But nobody talks about white-on-white crime.

Also, contrary to what those sites want you to believe, BLM does care about all blacks who get murdered, no matter who the perpetrator is. As one example, they held a vigil for a young girl who was gunned down in Georgia. There are many other instances that the mainstream media won't show.

As for why they protest, when Jarome kills Devante in the hood, Jarome goes to jail for it. But when Officer Mike Smith kills Devante for no reason, Officer Smith gets paid leave and labeled a hero by the conservative media b/c "his life was in danger" (when it wasn't). Accountability, dude.

All NFL teams have the right to implement whatever rule or laws to their own enterprise as they see fit, too. I am not a "nationalist" as other individuals are, so protest the National Anthem. Don't talk about that over freakin Mexico City, or the aftermath of Maria. There are other things that are more important than this. Who cares what President Trump says? We should be more concerned with his free trade and other polices over his comments on what he says he thinks owners should do.

While I think that "police brutality" is prevalent, we have more important issues, to me at least.

Nearly 50% of all the murders in the USA are committed by 13% of of the population. (<a href="http://www.dailywire.com/news/7441/7-statistics-you-need-know-about-black-black-crime-aaron-bandler" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.dailywire.com/news/7441/7-statistics-you-need-know-about-black-black-crime-aaron-bandler</a>). Not only is that a staggering number, it is also has a ton to do with culture. This needs to change. This is the biggest thing that anthem protesters should want to change:
<em>There were almost 6,000 blacks killed by other blacks in 2015.
By contrast, only 258 blacks were killed by police gunfire that year.</em>

Another issue is that 4,000,000 Americans cannot get drinking water, <strong>right NOW!</strong> The richest country in the the entire planet, has 4M people unable to get drinking water. Puerto Rico is in ruins, so much so that they cannot send reporters down there. They also don't have power, for <strong>4 to 6 MONTHS!</strong> This should be the utmost priority. These are AMERICANs that are not able to access the basics.

Neo-nazism, ANTIFA, the KKK, or any other group that uses violence to use there message is offensive across the board to me. There is no place for that in this world. This will be combated and eliminated in due time.
