Winnipeg Jets signed Dominic Toninato (1 Year / $700,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>arafay</b></div><div>Not really tbh, thompson was likely signed to be 4c and tominato or Seuss is our 14th forward while the other gets sent down. Now, if they go for another depth player of any kind, I agree with you 100%. Good to see the jets using their ownership’s (true north) financial muscle. It’s really good for a relatively small market team to have an ownership group with that much money.</div></div>
I hear ya just an outside observation from someone who’s not as in touch with the jets Org depth never hurts I mean these are better moves than bowman has been able to come up with and at great value so 👍

I mean at this price he was a solid 4th liner at times for FLA last season so doesn’t hurt so it seems like a good depth signing, but it really seems like the Jets are going all in on depth

(CHI/FLA) - Saarela for McCoshen
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AndrewLadd</b></div><div>Yes because Chicago needed even more sub par defensemen</div></div>
Thank you! McCoshen is slow and belongs in the AHL this is definitely not the solution to the Hawks troubles up at the Blue Line..

Florida Panthers signed Brian Boyle (1 Year / $940,000 AAV)
Well with Barkov out 2-3 weeks they say I guess they wanted another option up the middle and Coach Q doesn’t seem to favor Borgstrom much with his lineup and just the way he talks about his game tone wise in interviews

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>toque</b></div><div>Wow can't believe an arbitrator gave a 4th liner the same contract as Kevin Lebanc :awesome</div></div>
Yea that Leblanc contract is beyond a steal numbers wise

Thread:
Carolina Hurricanes signed Anton Forsberg (1 Year / $775,000 AAV)
Mrazek was up and down during the regular season and on fire in the playoffs, but got hurt so we know he isn’t invincible and Reimer has fallen off big time from how he was able to help carry FLA to *near playoff spot in 2017-2018 so having Forsberg at that price point sure isn’t a bad backup plan as far as goalies go someone else mentioned the situation in Vegas so there that is as well he can also possibly be flipped for a late pick at the deadline so they have options here.

Definitely didn’t turn out the way I thought he would back in 2014 when they took him at 4, but he can still contribute a bit

(OTT/CHI) - Smith for Anisimov
Debrincat will be RFA next season and asking big bucks so cap space is my guess here although it’ll be stretch either way the way it is now

Buffalo Sabres signed Dylan Cozens (3 Years / $1,744,167 AAV)
Yea you never know until it plays out guys like Datsyuk and Brett Hull went in the 6th round and Zetterberg was a 7th rounder just to throw out a few late pick successes although I thought he would have been off the board before Seider as well
