Thank you for your thoughts I think that would be Cheveldayoffs asking price though wouldn’t you agree

That’s actually good thinking but then after next season Karlsson is a free agent and he’ll probably be getting more than $10M

A little too much coming from Winnipeg IMO I feel like Connor and Trouba alone would get you Karlsson so that basically means
Trouba + Connor = Karlsson

I think it would be Smarter for Brian MacLellan to do a Sign and Trade with John Carlson rather than let him walk away for nothing I’m thinking like a GM

Huge trade with Edmonton at the Draft plus other Trades
Also if there are Oilers fans out there I understand that this might be a lot to give up for Trouba which is why I added Nic Petan The price for Jacob Trouba would be high and I feel like Kevin Cheveldayoff would ask for a package like this

Nuge for Strome?

I see where you are coming from but i think it would be wise to give Nuge a chance to play somewhere where he'll have an opportunity to play more minutes because he's a 3rd line center and the fact that playing diminishes the lower you are are on the depth chart i feel like he's been underused in Edmonton and i think it's time for Edmonton to give him a chance to shine elsewhere he'd be an impact player right away with Arizona, as for Strome i believe that Arizona has been under using him and not really giving him an Opportunity to Develop with the team so trading him to Edmonton would help with his Development.</div></div>
Nugent-Hopkins has been 2C ever since McDavid arrived. Where did you get that he's a 3rd line center and not playing many minutes? He averages 24.09 shifts/game (2nd on the team) and his TOI is up slightly from last year.</div></div>
I don't Follow the Oilers that Much i'm more of a Sens Fan plus i was reading an Article a while back From Eklund on Hockeybuzz that was talking about Nuge and how the Oilers should trade him so he doesn't have to play in the shadow of Mcdavid and Draisaitl but i've been told that Eklund doesn't know what he's talking about

Nuge for Strome?
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CD282</b></div><div>Strome can't hold down a job on the worst team in the league - how does he become the Oilers 3C? I could see this as an offseason trade due to cap issues, but to make this mid-season only make the Oilers worse, not better. They don't need the cap space this season thus it's not a good trade from that perspective.</div></div>

Deleted those trades Just decided to keep Landy and Duchene they worked on NHL 17 just thought it would be realistic

Sens Deadline
Let Me know what you guys think
OTT - COL Scenario: Turris & Ceci = Duchene, White, Lazar, Chlapik 1st = Landeskog. I believe this deal will help Colorado in the beginning stages of it's rebuild, Colorado gets 3 players that can come onto the roster and provide offense right away in Turris, Ceci, and Lazar, and 2 future players including a 1st rounder. Ottawa gets 2 elite players that have been struggling but with a change of scenery can instantly help Ottawa fight and stay in a playoff spot in Duchene and Landeskog.
OTT - MTL Scenario: Montreal Wants a top 2 Center who can help them continue and fight to stay on top of the Atlantic division standings and Duchene would be the perfect player for Montreal of course being in the same Division as Ottawa the price would be hefty and i believe Bergevin will do whatever he can to pry Duchene from Ottawa and this would hopefully and probably be the trade that lands Montreal Duchene.
OTT - EDM Scenario: Pierre Dorion will want to get rid of Plekanec and find another No. 1 Center, in my mind Edmonton would be the perfect place to make a trade with Draisaitl and Mcdavid looking like the future Top 2 Centermen in Edmonton Nugent-Hopkins time in Edmonton could be coming to a close as he would want to play for a team that that would give him the No.1 Center Role Ottawa would be a perfect place for him and in my mind this would be perfect for both teams as Edmonton would receive a perfect 3rd line Center in Plekanec whose play is starting to diminish as the years go by, a Right Handed Defensive Prospect and a good one in Juulsen, and a good back for Cam Talbot in Mike Condon. Ottawa would receive their No.1 Centerman in Nugent Hopkins
OTT - WPG Scenario: Ottawa will want to push hard to knock Montreal off the top of the Atlantic Division Standings getting a top 9 forward would definitely help to try and accomplish that, Drew Stafford is on the last year of his contract and would be an intriguing player to pick up for the Senators Ottawa would have to give something that would pry Stafford away from the Jets a 2nd round Draft pick in either 2017 or 2018 might be enough to make a deal happen.

Avalanche at Trade Deadline
COL - OTT Scenario: Ceci and Turris would probably be just right for the Avalanche could have made the package Ceci, White, and a 1st in 2017 for Duchene but knowing Ottawa they would rather have Colin White to be a part of their future than to trade him so Trading an established player like Turris would give White a chance to make Ottawa's roster next year and also Colorado already has Tyson Jost so it wouldn't make sense for Sakic to trade for another top Centerman Prospect.

Oilers @ Trade Deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ollie79</b></div><div><i>Just when i seen the Islanders trade and thought it was worst trade offer I have seen in a while i scrolled down and seen the Montreal offer. WOW so bad lol.</i></div></div> <div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BLough17</b></div><div><i>Is this really serious?</i></div></div>
Also
EDM - NYI Scenario: Strome has been struggling offensively a change of scenery could be a benefit for him, Hamonic has stated that he wants to be closer to home and Edmonton needs help defensively on their right side so this is a win win scenario also works cap wise
EDM - STL Scenario: I think the value is fair Nugent-Hopkins = Shattenkirk, and Davidson = Lehtera. Benefits both teams St. Louis gets a new No. 1 Center and a top 6 Defenseman which they can let go during the Expansion Draft, and Edmonton gets a good Right handed Defenseman something they lack and the perfect 3rd line Center
EDM - MTL Scenario: I think this trade is perfect as Montreal gets a top 2 Centerman who is locked up until the 2019-20 season, Edmonton gets a good right handed defensive prospect in Noah Juulsen a depth forward in Jacob De La Rose and a future 2nd rounder.
EDM - WPG Scenario: Slepyshev and STL 3rd = Stafford, Brossoit and VAN 5th = Pavelec, I think the trade is fair as both Stafford and Pavelec are Rentals and can be used to help Edmonton push for a Playoff position, While Winnipeg gets a Depth Goalie to develop in the Minors with Eric Comrie and a depth forward for both the Jets and the Moose along with Draft picks they can use at the draft or before the end of the Trade Deadline
