For Holtby, he got hurt near the end of the 21-22 season, got placed on LTIR by Dallas and then that offseason, when he was an FA, it was reported he would miss then whole 22-23 season due to injury and possibly be forced to retire</div></div>

Players that would be nhl caliber without injuries
Brendan Gallagher is currently a player for the Montreal Canadiens but he hasn't been his former self due to an injury. Brendan Gallagher is one of the most liked players in Montreal Canadiens history. He is a short but feisty winger which is why everybody likes him. He started off his career by being a consistent 40-50 point scorer. He maintained this production for 9 years in the NHL until mid way through the 2020-21 season where he took a 100 mile per hour shot to the hand. Luckily he came back in time for the playoffs. He wasn't the same and you can tell. During the season he was on pace to have 54 points until the injury. During the playoffs he only had 6 points in 22 games. The next season wasn't any better as he only had 24 points in 56 games. He would have only had 35 points if he played the whole season. Everybody had hope that he would turn it around and he didn't. He missed 2/3 of the season and only would have had 31 points if he played the whole season. This season he has been worse. He is on pace to play the whole season but he hasn't been good. He only has 16 points in 48 games. That means he is on a 28 point pace. His contract does not end until 2027 but the way his career is going right now, it looks like Montreal might even buyout his contract. Gallagher was one of my favourite players growing up and it is horrible to see what has happened to him

Remove Robertson. Remove Laggesson. Remove the 3rd.
Add a 3rd coming back to Toronto.
And then I accept.
1st for Tanev is possible though. But I wouldn't pay that if I were the Leafs (without another piece coming back).
Robertson is having a strong year, while only playing 10 and a half minutes a game. We shouldn't just use him as a throw in in a trade. If we trade him, he should be a main piece of value.</div></div>

Pavelski should be added to the Maybes. Giroux and Weber are maybe as well imo. I'll get heat for Weber but his decline was pretty early and happened very fast. And if shutdown D-men ever get love, add Slavin and Vlasic to the the maybes
Bob is far from a lock.
In general it's hard to even consider anyone under 30-32. Its just a guessing game of if they stay healthy and on their trajectory</div></div>
Forgot Pavelski, Bobrovsky has two Vezina and All star appearances. If he wins a cup he will for sure get in. If Tom Barraso gets in Bob gets in

Before that he gave up 5 goals on 14 shots to the 6th worst team in the league.
Before that he again gave up 6 goals on 35 shots to the same 5th worst team in the league.
It’s not even just the amount of goals he gives up, it’s the quality and the timing of them. It’s just awful and it’s not what a championship contending team can have if they’re serious about competing. I understand you’re logic of supporting him and trying to encourage him because it’s purely a mental issue and not a physical or technical with him - but at what point do you say “hey we just need saves” and hold the player accountable? He’s a pro athlete, he signed up for this. If he doesn’t like the pressure of the NHL then go back to the KHL.</div></div>
I agree with him going back to the KHL but maybe for a season and then he can return if he is better. I really hope he returns to his former self

I applaud your attempt to support him but Tor is a harsh place for NHL players. Like NY for baseball. I don't know if they will support him like Philly did (though that was also a surprise to me).</div></div>
Just when I looked at the post game interviews last night it looked like he was having an anxiety attack and was ready to drop on the floor and curl into a ball. I just feel horrible for him. I even started to hear booing which is just horrible

Samsonov isn't bad he just has a case of the Yips. Instead of hating on him everywhere on Social Media cheer for him. If you are at A leafs game and you have seen this post cheer and chant his name. Give him a standing ovation, scream his name every time he makes a great save like what we did for Soup. He is not doing bad he just has a case of the yips. If we do what the Phillies did in baseball for Trea Turner i'm 100% certain he will turn it around

The Leafs have NEVER won 3 playoff rounds in a season in franchise history.
How does one win 3 playoff rounds?
With 3C's like Bolland, Kruger and John Madden. Ya know.... those guys that throw up a 30 point season and can play a 200 foot game?
Sounds like someone we are talking about🤣🤣🤣</div></div>
We tried Bolland out, it did not work but we tried lol
