Hmmmm he got traded for a 7th and an ahl player and also retaining 50%. So proof you know absolutely nothing and should probably look in the mirror before calling someone else stupid or embarrassing.

2023 Stanley Cup Champs
1. Why would Vancouver want pettersson? And he wouldn't be enough for Boeser with retention.
2. Chicago is gonna claim Mcginn?????
3. Arizona doesn't want salary back so no blueger in the deal.
4. Minnesota isn't retaining salary on Greenway for a 5th. He's signed for 2 more years.

Like I said, you don't seem to understand the difference between a real, reliable source and a guy who makes a living speculating about trades (like Pagnotta, Richardson and Severelli).
The local beat reporters did not report anything but facts or their opinions. You're wrong; deal with it.</div></div>
Darren dreger just reported on insider trading on TSN wings looking to trade vrana. Only person who believes they aren't looking to trade vrana is you. So crawl out from the rock your under and get a clue.

None of what you said is even remotely true and you need to check your "sources". Fact: Yzerman doesn't allow leaks so anything you've heard is likely bs. Fact: Vrana was in the assistance program for months. Fact: Vrana did not skate or workout during that entire time. Fact: the Wings realized after they sent him for conditioning that he would need more than a few games to get into game shape. Fact: uninformed morons who didn't know any better began to speculate things and then report them as facts. Fact: people like you repeat those things all over the internet because you can't be bothered to differentiate between a real source and a rumor mongering. Fact: your offer is insulting and you can go ahead and keep it.</div></div>
Fact every organization has leaks.
Vrana's future indoubt with the club was reported not just by local Detroit sportswriters and blogs but nationally by Lyle Richardson with the hockey news, Dave Pagnotta and Frank seravelli. But yes these are unreliable ppl.....

That's just stupid. And even if we did this offer is a joke.</div></div>
You aren't serious right. The redwings have done everything to show vrana his days as a wing are numbered. He could have been in the NHL for a while but the keep him down the ahl aside from a couple games. You must not really follow the team. He has been mentioned as a buy out candidate.
Nedeljkovic has played 9 NHL games this year. 9. He's been buried since December but basicallyost his back up job once they claimed hellberg.
But please go on about why the wings want to keep taking a cap hit on a goalie they don't want on an expiring contract and a player yzerman doesn't want on the team when they can get something for them. I guarantee no one else is offering better

Either retain or are gonna buy him out. Retaining is cheaper and the wings would be trading 2 bad contracts they buried in the minors all season for draft picks and veteran d. Not sure how they pass when likely they'll end up getting nothing

Pens TDL
Huge overpayment for McCabe. Plus Dumo this assumes Dump wouldnt have the hawks on his 10 team no trade list.
Barbashev has been one of my favorite targets for the Pens to get and hopefully resign.
Labanc would just be a more expensive Kap. He is a defensive liability which is why is has been a healthy scratch 8 out of the last 10 games.

NEEDs - 2RW - 3LW - 3C - 1st pairing LHD - 3rd Goalie - 1 Physical Player
1. I like getting jordan greenway but Wild won't take Mcginn and heinen. They want to cut salary.
2. Rasmussen isn't getting traded by the redwings. Nedeljkovic wouldn't be a bad pick up but would be very cheap even with any salary retention. Adam Erne would be cheap too and add a lot of grit to bottom 6.
3. Calgary is pretty solid on left side Dmen having hanifin, Weegar and Zadarov. Dumo isn't an upgrade over any of them really. plus they couldn't take on Dumo's cap hit and improve their center position which is what they have been looking to do. Also Dumo going for a 2nd ain't happening.
4. McCabe is buyer beware and thats a big overpayment.
5. Why, just Why. Sully never plays guys whose only ability is being a tough guy remember Ryan Reaves...
6. So many rumors PGH is interested in Boeser but honestly I wouldn't pay more for him than this but Vancouver will want more.

Trying to figure something out
I like the idea of Larsson and Motte. But with Archibald signed i don't see that happening. PLus it pushes Drew Oconnor and Zhorna both out of the lineup and they would be nice cheaper options.
Larsson and MOttoe should have been targets form the beginning instead of Archibald and Caligula.
If we can move out Mcginn they would be good replacements.
As far as Zadina detroit signed a bunch of Def this off season and has plenty of youth in their system. Zadina would need to play with a playmaking center who can get him the puck as he is a sniper but doesn't do well at creating for himself yet at the NHL level.

Crouse is costing more than 2mil to sign.
idk why Edmonton who has cap issues itself would want zucker especially if they could resign puljaarvi at only 2 mil which would be less than zucker even with the retention.

avs may consider trading girard
The PEns have no use for Girard as he is small and putting him and letang together is asking for very little defensive accountability.
I see colorado moving Girard but more for prospects or picks as they try to make cap room to resign Kadri. Girard just looks like the odd man out.

I didn't want to trade Poulin but I see Crouse as young and NHL ready whereas Poulin may or may not get there. They are only 4 years apart and if they are gonna go for it in Sids window get the now player instead of the maybe future player

I see your point on that but not many of the D signed play left side. Durzi is Right side. Anderson does play left but there was rumored interest from Kings in Petterson or Chychrun. THey are likely going to have shed salary anyway just to get their RFAs signed. I also doubt they role with Elder playing a big role in the top 4 or 6. something is gonna give there. Outside of Doughty and Edler very inexperienced D core.

Why would Columbus want MArino and flipping all those picks? if Marino is getting moved it is likely to Vancouver. Stenlund couldn't stay in the jackets lineup which is very thin at center and you don't even have the cap space to sign him.......

big overpayment for Fischer. Arizona will need players under contract to hit the floor next season bc no one wants to sign there. trading them zucker would be doing them a favor in that regard and Fischer although would love to see what he could do out of arizona isn't gonna cost POJ

PP trade deadline
some interesting ideas Cap space next year becomes tricky with about 29 mil to resign Malkin, Letang, Rust, Kap, Erod, Heinen and Korpisalo. Granted not all of them will be back anyways
But why trade for Korpisalo. The Pens should look for a veteran goalie to back up Jarry not one roughly the same age who probably is looking to start and wil expensive to resign. Someone like a Greiss or a Holtby.

Rust to CHI
I'm ok with this. Rust could price himself out of PGH with another strong season. He basically has scored on par with Guentzel so you have to figure over 6 mil is very likely.
Strome and Nylander are both young and have a ton of upside. Strome Especially could be a nice #2 Center that could develop behind Crosby and ease malkin's role to wing.
IDK why you keep throwing Bjorkqvist in all trades i don't think there is interest in him and if Rust has another good season you won't need to throw in low end prospects and picks.

Should PIT try Evander Kane
I don't really think Kane is worth the gamble. Accused of betting on his own games and he is currently bankrupt. But the type of player he is what the pens do need. Gritty, physical, can skate and shoot. a shame he has so much baggage.
But ill play devil' advocate. if this trade were to happen you have to take SJ to the cleaners. Many veteran players have said they won't play for SJ if Kane is still there. The buy out window has passed so the Sharks are desperate. Zucker in the deal is fine but why include matheson? I would say take Kane, get SJ to retain at least 2mil on salary and get a high pick or prospect for Zucker Alone. Getting rid of Kane is worth it to the sharks and zucker is on a much shorter friendly contract.

So with this trade the pens get smaller, older, lose a draft pick and take on more salary for a player that at best is equal to McCann. Kerfoot hasn't fit in Toronto and they know it. They aren't getting that return for him

Virtanen would be a ok gamble if his contract was cheaper. He really is no better right now than lafferty honestly but has higher potential.
