Duhaime will be re-signed probably a 1.1mil at 2-3 years.
I still think Addison is going to get traded but if he is re-signed its going to be something like a one year deal maybe 975K - 1.2 mil.
Steel he might get re-signed but it will be for a mil or less.
Goose is probably gone too and then they would sign a cheap veteran Dman for under a mil.

why bring colton back to be bottom 6
I doubt the Wild trade Hartman or Moose in the offseason, if they are getting traded its going to be at the TDL for picks and prospects. If both have just decent years next season then they both could get a nice return in separate deals.

if trevelin wanted the leafs to win in the playoffs
Why would the Wild trade for one year of Matthews with a higher cap hit. This makes no sense for the Wild...do the Wild need a #1C yes but what good is a #1C without a star winger in Kaprizov?

Anything but Marner
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Izzy71</b></div><div>You're smoking some drugs if you think The thrill is better then Marner.</div></div>
How good would Marner be if he had Hartman as his center? Not to mention KK97 is alittle cheaper and locked up for a couple more year longer then Marner. Krill makes everyone around him better there is a reason Sam Steel had a career year while centering him for 2 months and also the reason Hartman has been so good and set career highs. Marner is a great player but is he good enough to have the impact that Krill has on the Wild? Probably not which is why the Wild would decline and which is the reason you want to trade for him.

not to mention we cant afford Lindholm we need guys like Rossi on ELC to step up to navigate through cap hell for the next two years.

Wild are not going to re-sign Dumba unless its for like 1mil a year for two years, which there is no way Dumba takes that. Faber is his replacement which you don't have in the line up.

Yeah they just signed Faber to replace Dumba, now Faber has only played one game so who knows but he sure looks the part and looked very good in his debut.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dannibalcorpse</b></div><div>--Minnesota does not have the cap for Brock Boeser - I don't think they'd take him on even with 50% retention. </div></div>
At 50% retention I would think the Wild at least explore the idea in the offseason, but I doubt Van would retain for just Steel and a 2nd, so I would ask if Steel, Addison and 2nd would get Boeser at 50%? Maybe drop the 2nd to a 3rd....not sure of the value your thoughts?

F for the F lames season
The Wild don't have a need for Hanifin and wont be trading Rossi anytime soon (unless its in a package for McDavid or another high end center) so the Wild will pass.
It will be interesting to see if Gaudreau tests FA or just re-signs with the Wild its pretty certain the Wild will offer a contract, but probably not as much as he could get in the open market we will see I guess...

Isles Retool
Dannibal spells it out nicely. Wild don't do this because of the cap issues and the RFA's and UFA's we need to re-sign. Although it wouldn't surprise me to see Addison traded at the draft but if he is not traded he will sign a bridge deal. MN isn't trading their 1st unless its packaged with another asset to move up in the first round or if it was no brainer trade (like McDavid for our first).

Adding to Compete More
I think you might be overpaying alittle for Moose but I also think it would take a team to overpay to get him from the Wild. He is a great leader in the locker room, physical, good defensively and his contract isn't horrible for what he brings to the table.
If I was BG though I would probably take this deal.

what are the chances
I would say the chances of a one for one with Hartman and Mitts is slim to none. Hartman signed a team friendly deal with the Wild and its worked out pretty well for him and the team, I am pretty sure it would take a lot more to pry him from the Wild.
Now I could see him getting moved next year around the TDL if the Wild are not in the playoff mix.

Yeah Buffalo has a better shot at getting Addison then Spacek. Not really sure why Buffalo would trade for a Spacek he is not ready to step into the NHL next year and probably not the year after either.
