Making Boeser work next year
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>User123409871234</b></div><div>What would be the cost of putting like 2M in Arizona on Boessers deal? a couple 2nds? Also - at this point, with only 18k in cap room, I believe that Faber's draft year means his max cap hit is 925k, which does add a whopping 25k lol</div></div>
They’d ask for a 1st and probably wouldn’t take on dead term for less, nor should they. If it was for a single year, maybe they’d take a 2nd and 3rd but not for 2.

The team will regret moving him once he’s no longer under a coach that’s a dinosaur.

Idk, I just view him as the third wheel to two star prospects in Cooley and Snuggerud. I was completely unimpressed when they played played my badgers a couple of weekends ago. Knies might be an okay 2nd liner one day in the NHL.

How To Get a 1st for Dumba
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>drmantalban</b></div><div>Yeah I was referring to the lineup of this ACGM, which factors in the current injuries. When healthy, I said I think we're a playoff team.
What you just listed is a healthy lineup, but if we don't get that until DEC, it makes a big difference on standings points.</div></div>
I don't see the injuries having much of an effect for this month. Losing players doesn't help, but they aren't the top of the lineup players that are out. If it was Boldy, JEE, Kap, and Zucc that were out then it would be time to set the house on fire to kill the spider. MN is out basically the equivalent of a 3rd line (and grit).

While I agree Minnesota won’t trade Foligno, calling Buffalo’s 1st and a recently drafted 2nd round prospect a crap offer for a 3rd liner just isn’t true. Just because you don’t want to trade a player doesn’t mean it’s a crap offer

Possible Players Avail at TDL
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>User123409871234</b></div><div>I think I could get behind Addison in the likely available category factoring in he would bring a good return, however, there would need to be a replacement for him or Dumba (or Dumba signs an extension 4.5 or less) for it to be a reality that Addison moves</div></div>
I see Addison and Dumba as completely separate thing. If Dumba is gone next year they'll replace him with a big/physical 2-way RD, not a small pp specialist. Just like they used Benn last year instead of playing Addison.

MY ideal lines
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>User123409871234</b></div><div>Yeah - I don't think his 5.4% shooting percentage is necessarily going to continue, but I agree, let him get his feet wet in Iowa and see if he can get 10-12% down there and then bring him up where it would presumably drop, but at volume, it works.</div></div>
Agreed, I do think his Shooting% will boost a bit, but that's also part of the issue right - shooting just to shoot, especially from low danger areas, doesn't prove to be all that effective. Part of Army's message to him going into the offseason was to think about being a more intentional and purposeful shooter.
Which I think he can dial in pretty quickly in Iowa. Give him 25-30 games right off the hop in Iowa, rack up 10-12 goals, then start giving him games as injuries arise with the big club.

I'd rather them take the actual 30-goal scorer in Hartman and throw him with those 2 vs. Beckman.
Beckman doesn't play a complete enough game - right now, he's a pretty one dimensional north-south high volume shooter. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but let's see him get more than 11 goals in an AHL season before we throw him into a boom/bust spot with 2 other greenhorns.

Puljujarvi has reportedly asked for a trade if edmonton won't play him in the top 6. The more likely one to be traded is foegele though. Janmark could very easily replace him.

This base trade is flawed/sarcastic. It's a response to the multitude of TOR ACGMs on there that keep trying to make MN overpay for what are essentially unneeded/unwanted cap dumps.

I think this is the opposite of a bidding war. It's more like shopping the Menards Halloween items a week before Halloween. Where they put up the % drop off the sticker price on a per day basis the closer the holiday gets.

Yeah I'd consider changing the Kerfoot one for 4th if really had to and Holl I'm relatively easy about too, just need to move them both to get the cap to work.

I believe that the understanding was that Faber might be in college for a couple of years when they acquired him. Even if Faber was available, after the college season, it would still be too early to just trade Addison I think.

Both of those players that you named absolutely had to be traded off their teams. Lou was ready to if not offered 7x7ish for Kadri (31, 38 at the expiration of his deal).
Kadri Vs Zuccarello 2021 season
71 70 Gms
28 24 G
59 55 A
13 21 +/-
Not saying that Zuccarello is equal to or close to equal to Kadri, but he can very well still perform at a level near Kadri, and has proven it at his age. Has Kadri proven that yet?

Im guessing this is in reference to Kerfoot? and in a world where he has a $3M cap hit, they are $7M over the cap and they have a young LHD, who is arguably their best defender that they still haven't signed, that world.
