<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>Let me give you a piece of advice. When you pull that shtick of saying, “so you’re saying....” and then say something completely different from what the person was saying, you’re going to sound like a moron. Yes, you are getting something wrong here. Pretty much every word. Stop saying what I was allegedly saying because you’re wrong literally every single time. I’ve always said that 5 years would be an awful term for Carlo, I have said that I thought chychrun’s contract was a good comparable. Is that what you’re thinking? Man, you do a good job of digging yourself in a hole.</div></div>
now now, lets not go ad hominem on every single aspect as to what you are doing here is nothing but fallacy. But even if I take your words for it, 1. I have never seen you compare chychrun's deal to Carlo's deal. 2. the two are very different players and in 2 very different situations. 3. I've never solely mentioned 5 years but 5 years or more. Its very funny how you told me that I am wrong on every aspect of my thinking and never explained. If you never explain, well, we could easily be arguing on different wavelengths but its apparent to me that you have no idea how to defend your thoughts as you simply rebutted by saying I was wrong. Sure I was wrong, you are even worse.

oh so now you're saying that the Bruins could have pulled off a 2 year deal at 3M for McAvoy and you are saying that the current deal isn't already a steal? am I getting something wrong here because a 2 year deal at 3 doesn't seem that likely for someone like McAvoy. Also, you were also the one talking that Carlo should have gotten at least 5 on a 6 year deal, doesn't this seem contradictory

its funny how you are not even recognizing yourself. You never said McAvoy was getting a bridge for 7, first, you've never mentioned that McAvoy would get a bridge. Quite sure that you stuck to your narrative that he'll get a 7 or 8 year deal. second, even if you did, I am quite sure that you also stuck to your narrative that he would get at least 6 or 6.5M. thirdly, even if want to lie about your words, sure, but you stated that Carlo was getting at least 3.5M on a bridge. Even if you stated that Carlo was getting a 2.85 on a bridge, you stuck to your narrative that Backes would needed to be moved in order to create cap. Certainly something funny is going on here. Whatever way this goes, you are wrong

LEAFS DEAL FOR MARCHAND
holy... I thought I would never have seen such a bad ACGM. Marchand for Marner + 1st + conditional 2nd. No, we will not be entertaining any talks on receiving camp dump Nylander (no teams in the right mind would do so, 23 years old and crap, no. Also not team friendly). Marchand was off an 100 point season earning only 6M so no in the first place. If you even want to start talking for a 100 point guy, go with someone who actually is good and some picks too. i don't care how old he is, he is still capable of putting 90+ points a season and 35+ goals a season. Plus, hes not going to waive to a team that cannot get past the first round and definitely not going to move to any team.

honestly don't know. 7th round pick, but shined unbelievably in the World Juniors. Plays in C but his game features more of a winger (I see him more on the RW than at C). He could be a top-6 player but I think more of a 30-40 point player, 20-25 goal a season middle-6 player I would say. Not a professional so don't judge if this information is wrong.
btw just to add on, he was playing 3rd/4th line in the world juniors and manage to put up 3 goals and an assist in 7 games

Sure. depends on how he does this next year. If he scores below 30, he should take that. If he scores over 30, we just give him 6*4M or 6*4.5M. I don't see him getting more than that, changing it now. unless he goes on a crazy year and scoring 40 goals, i don't see it happening, but if he really does, just give him a bridge of 1*5.5M

Unless the player turns 40 during the duration of a contract, the cap hit is the same each and every year.
What happens when Moore comes off LTIR and you are miles over the cap?</div></div>
move someone at the worst case scenario. And tbh, I've heard that Backes could also be on LTIR as well, just no confirmation. And if it was an average annual value, the increase of cap hit would be too little to push the Bruins over the cap. Worse comes to worst, we drop our signings this year at the next FA or ship out someone

fine, we'll take that as a minor setback. We can always call up Carey or someone else. Plus Moore could easily be moved it needed, or someone else. Just get McAvoy and Carlo back. They are the main players
