Kreids to Bahston
Not sure how I feel about the trade with Boston. I like Kreider for the most part and Pionk is a RD which is always in demand. It would be nice to move the Backes contract, Miller is a good soldier and would be missed, Axelsson a young former 1st round RD, JFK decent bottom six center potential.
My biggest dilemma is why do the NYR do this? I think Boston would even with the potential cap problems and positional needs.

Playoff Teams TDL- Boston Bruins

What about Chiasson?

Or Sweeney thinks the price for Stone is more worth going after than Dzingel and he's trying to land the big fish. My guess is Johansson to the Press, if Stone moves he goes west to the Jets or Flames. I think the Leafs are a team thats remained real quiet but has something brewing for Kreider. Sweeney will land Vanek at like 3:54 Monday for a 2020 4th</div></div>
Vanek ?.price is right though
Stone would be a shock. Lot to pay for someone they can’t sign.

Sweeneys take
I have nothing against Grzelyck or Studnicka, but they aren't the players they should target with a Stone or Duchene trade.

Can't see them moving Studnicka. I think they have their future top 3 C's in the system.
JFK = Bergeron
Studnicka = Krejci
Frederic = Backes
Now I'm not saying they be as productive as those comps, but they play a similar style of game.

going for the cup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aspina25</b></div><div>Can someone explain to me the world they're living in where Schenn is better than Kreider?? Kreider has out preformed him in just about every area while playing with worse teammates and at a lower cap hit.</div></div>
I think it's honestly just STL fan. They live in a world where Schenn is a 70 point player because he's done it a total of 1 time in his 5 years of 79+ games. He also never scored 60 before that season, but some how they value him as a consistent 70 point forward.

schenn and simmonds
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LetsGoBlues18</b></div><div>A bottom 6 forward, 3rd line/AHL defensemen, and a 2nd for a 70 point center?</div></div>
This post is ****ing hilarious. One season of 70 points does not make Schenn a 70 point center. Going by your logic, I need to ask.... How is Heinen a bottom 6 winger? How many bottom 6 wingers put up 47 points? I would classify Heinen as a Top 9 winger more than a bottom 6 winger. He will play from the 3rd line, up. He's having a rough sophomore season, but has potential to be a middle 6 winger. You also seem to not have a freaking clue about Matt Grzelcyk. He is not even close to an AHL defenseman. He's on the 3rd pairing in Boston because we have Chara and Krug already. Even with that, Grzelcyk is averaging just over 20 minutes TOI per game. How many 3rd line (lololol) / AHL defenseman average that kind of time? He's a ridiculous skater and sound defensively, despite his diminutive size. He is a solid puck mover and can play on the PP; though he's better suited for a 2nd unit role.
Maybe don't comment if you only know about one player..... And maybe don't overvalue the hell out of said player.

Krug trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Username_Bot</b></div><div>true true... Donato JFK and Heinen are amazing right now. Honestly tho, I agree with Backes on the 2nd, he could produce more. I don't know smith and cave tho. Smith has looked not too bad IMO and cave was garbage on the first line. I don't know how he did on the 3rd but you probably are right. I mean the winger should be able to slot into both position smoothly right? Thing being, I was thinking that Acciari or Wagner be in the line up. We need someone to lay bodies and fight at points.</div></div>
Cave looked fine on first. His passes were crisp. He was in right position. Finished his checks. Hustled. My biggest issue was he was hesitant to shoot. Did not seem to click with Marchy-Pasta. He is far better suited for 3rd or 4th line duty. But he has added offense to his game this year. Smith is just a roster filler.

Krug trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jfstompers</b></div><div>-10, 0, -6 that's his +- today and his last 2 years. Sure his offense is top notch but he's basically a turn style in his own zone. He's a 3rd pair guy who specializes on the power play . He makes 5.3 about and is up after next year. Is he really worth the 7 million he's going to want. The bruins have show they have young d pieces that can play and a desperate need for depth scoring. They also have 2 brittle 30+ year old centers and moving him could help that.</div></div>
+/- references are useless, especially if that's your first/main go-to.
