I truly can see the Penguins moving Jarry
Eh, Columbus is already loaded up on middle-6 forwards, and nearly all of them are younger and have more potential than Rakell or even Puustinen (Voronkov, Marchenko, Chinakhov, Johnson, Sillinger, and if we keep him here, Texier).
Gudbranson at least fills a leadership role/3RD role that's useful. Given his contract is cheaper and shorter than Rakell's, CBJ pass.

Jake is not coming back
Trading a top-6 player for a bunch of lesser pieces is something long-successful teams do to kick off a rebuild (a la Pittsburgh), not something a young team loaded with prospects already and lacking top-end talent does in an attempt to get out of a rebuild (a la Columbus).
No reason to move Laine. His trade value is at its lowest, and we need a goal-scoring powerplay specialist. If he comes back and returns to form, great! We get what we need. If not, it's not like we'd be getting more for him right now compared to, say, TDL 2025/2026.

Son offre pour KJ n'est pas raisonnable.
Cependent, je pense que si une personne fréquente ce site, les chances sont qu'il comprend l'anglais, au moins un peu.

Once again, these KJ offers are awful and not even slightly appealing. There is zero incentive for the Jackets to trade one of their highest drafted and highest potential young players for parts less than 3 years after drafting him. They have a prospect pool that is overflowing with depth and very short on high end talent. These Montreal offers are not what they need. If you want to talk Caufield, Suzuki, or Slafkovsky for KJ+ then we can talk. Otherwise, just give up.

More ideas
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>hockeynutter</b></div><div>The big draw here is Robertson. He is still worth a second round pick by many insiders. His 5v5 results in limited time for offense actually mirror the leafs stars. He struggles defensively still and rarely plays with the man advantage. He has great speed and an elite shot that a team willing to give him a chance to easily get a top 6 forward. Right now he can be a good of not better 3rd line forward for many teams. This to get us a defenseman that many believe of he can stay healthy still has top pairing potential if not than top 4. Yes big if on remaining healthy and playing enough but we have a limited amount of defensive prospects but a few good forwards in Cowan, minten tverberg etc....
Also blueliner is not softer as we still have Benoit, McCabe edmundson and Roy is not a soft player either. We need more than bruisers, we need defensemen who can move the puck as well as at the moment we only have Reilly and Liljegren.</div></div>
Moving Boqvist is absolutely of interest to Columbus, but neither Robertson nor Lajoie really is. Columbus already has at least two small middle-six wing prospects in Dumais and Brindley, and no clear spots for them on the Columbus roster as it is with the emergence of the Russians (and with Johnson and Laine back next season). An AHL left D is even less interesting. I know your whole point is not moving picks, but Columbus would be more interested in picks for Boqvist than bodies.

The reason why trading most draft picks is a big reason for our struggles
Not sure you’re getting <a href="https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/john-tavares-shares-photo-illustrate-childhood-dream-181109014.html" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Johnny Jammies</a> to waive to go anywhere.
But I get it. TOR has a great team, just a lot of not-great luck when the calendar turns to April. A major shake-up could do wonders; but, not sure you're getting any of the big-four to do it themselves.

Playoff contending, then. So much of it is luck. Look how many years the Sharks were a playoff team and they never managed to get over the hump. The Leafs aren't without flaws, but they are very much a playoff contender.

EDIT 2: AND retention on Kuraly? I swear to G-d every time I take another look at this thing... I need to close this tab before I see it again.</div></div>

Unless we want to buyout jc, that trade isn’t great for us. Broberg isn’t gonna get the time he needs here either. And loosing Kuraly to swap isn’t ideal either.

Also selling laine that low would be a fireable offense by the next gm. Plus trading a pick for middle 6 center is a really bad idea. We have enough of those guys as is.
Just all around poor decision making

I think you are on the right track with who is getting traded; but, the returns dont line up with what CBJ need/where they are. Bean is also more than likely a non-QO UFA, and KJ is going to get more; but, yes - the prospects are al llikely bridge-deal candidates.
I'm a fan of Kulak, but this feels like a CBJ overpay. The Strum and Armia trades feel more like lateral moves than anything.
The main concern for CBJ right now is trimming the roster down - there are a number of guys who need to be moved to open up roster spots for the youngin's, both on D and at F. If we are moving players, the aim is to either get draft picks for them, or young waivers-exempt players that can be housed in CLE.

No thanks on armia
No reason to trade for kulak unless it’s kulak and a first for provorov or for bean.
Jackets are set at center with Boone, kuraly, Voronkov, sillinger, and fantilli. They could also potentially add lindstrom in the draft. Only way they add a center is if it’s a proven top 6 center

No thanks on Armia, you'd probably get a contender looking for cheap depth to bite, but not a current bottom-feeder trying to sort though their own mess of bottom-6 forwards and prospects. Just the wrong target.

Next Year
Columbus doesn't own that pick. The conditions from the Provorov trade were that Columbus can choose 2024 for 2025, and since they're going to finish fourth-worst this season, there's no chance they don't keep it this year.
Also not sure Dvorak is worth a second rounder.
