Next Year ft Dougie
I also don't really bank on Weber to play out his entire contract, so we save a full 7,8M if he retires early, since the cap penalty will be going to NSH.

By the time Caufield signs his next deal, we can hope that the cap will slowly start ascending. Also, Armia's 2 year deal would be expiring and not be re signed, with Ylonen who should be a full time nhler at that point. Toffoli and Edmundson will also have only a year left on their deals. Caufield would certainly be hard to sign while keeping Toffoli, but Edmundson is expendable at that point, assuming Guhle can replace him. Our cap hit would be tight, but more manageable that VGK, TBL and TOR, IMO.

Next Year ft Dougie
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lenny7</b></div><div>To be fair, it would be very entertaining to see them try to extend Romanov, Evans and Suzuki after this...</div></div>
Suzuki probably gets 6M on a 4-5 year deal, but I think both sides are going to be looking for a 8 yer deal, most likely around 7-8M. Evans won't get more than 1,5M. Romanov is the question mark depending on next season, but with Byron and Allen caps off the books, we're left with around 3,5M for him, which would most likely be enough for a bridge deal.

CP31 Going back West
Should have said it in the description, but I know this would never happen lol. Plus Price has always been my man. Was just curious to see what could be accomplished with this team with his contract off the cap, especially with Allen's play this year.

MTL 2 year sim with flat cap - Year 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Suzuki_Cup</b></div><div>Value is too much according to me on the DET trade. Mantha is really not worth that amount, especially with the 16 ovr. Det fans seem to think that Mantha is worth as much as Crosby.
This package would currently get us Tarasenko or Gaudreau, which are more interesting players.</div></div>
Right now, Tarasenko or Gaudreau might be more interesting, but Tarasenko's cap hit is higher and is injury prone, while Gaudreau can just walk in 2 years. Mantha is younger and can still grow, and is RFA, so we have would have the power to lock him up for longer than both other players.
Because of these reasons, plus the fact he's from here, I'd rather make a move on him, and would be willing to move this package for it.

They just lost their 2021 1st, so an offer sheet this summer is out of the way.

Yeah I also think they would, but taking the chance of Lou not wanting to give that much, or struggling to clear cap space to sign Pulock and Toews could be worth it.

Habs 2020-21
Let’s see..:
- Caufield and Ylonen should/will have toster spots/leaves us at +/- 19,5M
- Gallagher, around 6M/13,5M cap space
- Danault, 4,5M, around 9M cap space
- Bridge contract around 2,5M depending on his season/6,5M cap space
- Lehkonen, Armia, Chiarot or Kulak should be claimed by Seattle. Let’s say we work out a deal in order for them to pick either Chiarot. Romanov should be stepping in on the left side. Brook/Fleury on the right side if there’s injuries. We will be left at around 9M with KK, Lekh and Armia unsigned. Should be enough for KK and Lekh, while trading seau Armia (or the opposite).
Possible lineup by then (2021-2022):
Hall-KK-Caufield
Domi-Poehling-Gallagher
Drouin-Danault-Suzuki
Lehkonen-Cousins-Ylonen
Mete-Weber
Romanov-Barrie
Kulak-Juulsen
Price
Primeau
So, to answer your question, I think I would feel better than Leafs or Jets fans right now.

If that looks ridiculous to you, it was intentional. Nobody wants bottom six forwards and Sapir parts for top-4 defensemen.</div></div>
So you are comparing 2 players that in the past 3 years scored on average 0.277 points/game on Philly's side, to 2 players that scored 0.511 points per game for the same period..
I guess you're either really bad at maths, stupid, or close minded.
