<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Billy739</b></div><div>The Buck Stops at the Gm's office Period .

He's the one who's gave away talent like Strome/Domi/Perlini/Duclair/DeAngelo/pick that became Andersson

in one breathe you say it isnt the GM's fault , in the next you elude to this ''they '' that should re-structure management in development .

the Gm and this ''they'' you elude to are one in the same .
but to be honest it was Promoting him to President of Hockey Operations who oversea's long term decisions regarding the team that truly sent ARZ trending down .

TML got it right bringing in Shannahan to build everything from the ground up .
ARZ got it wrong going ass backwards promoting the youngest GM in the league to President ensuring no System overhaul and more losing seasons</div></div>

Perlini Duclair and even DeAngelo are easily replaceable guys, I wouldn't be mad if my GM traded any of them away... And the pick that became Lias got them a legit starting goalie AND a stopgap 1C, and at the time of the Domi Galch trade, Domi wasn't performing, that year trade was viewed as a massive W for ARZ at the time, I wouldn't say it's the GM's fault the player wasn't performing, that's not his job, his job is to assemble the team, all he can do after that is hope they play well, Domi didn't, his value dropped, but they still got a good return, and yeah the Strome trade is looking like a mistake, but schmaltz has played fantastic in ARZ before getting hurt, and Strome still hasn't played good away from Debrincat, I could see that trade going either way (higher likelihood of CHI winning though) and by player development guys, I meant the guys that do film review and on ice coaches and such, not the GM/president
