Thread: Playoffs?
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jp_harvey</b></div><div>Faulk = one of the best two way d-men in the NHL??? WHAT?!?! Hahahaha okay I must admit, that was a nice joke! This guy is a PP specialist, just like Mike Green, but not as good as M.G. He's horrible in his own zone. He's been on the trading block for more than 2 years now. There's no real interest in him, especially for the kind of value that you're referring to!

Skinner scored 30 goals 3 times in 7 seasons and only once in the last 4 seasons. I wouldn't way he's a consistent "30 goals scorer", but more that he's capable of scoring 30 goals giving the right circumstances. He's also a 50-55pts a year guy, which is valuable, YES, but not for a massive return.

Anyhow, I still think ARI needs to pay more to obtain Skinner + Faulk. No picks coming from CAR and add a '19 2nd round pick going to CAR.

I, too, think they'll compete for a playoff spot this season but will fall just short by 3-4 points.</div></div>

What’s funny about your statement is that he has better advanced defensive stats than Doughty, Vlasic, Burns, Karlsson. On top of that, he’s a great PP catalyst. If you watch hockey, and think he’s a bad player? You’re drunk. Skinner in 82 games, averages 28 goals, boss. They’re shopping these guys because the return is going to be high. Faulk is a great defenseman but they can get a great center and keep their d core and be even better. Please, look into things. Really disturbing how ignorant this whole thing is.
