<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Preston_Mattesich</b></div><div>listen man, im a devils fan. we are both pretty poverty franchises as of late. ik the spot you're in rn but if you want to have an actual discussion regarding anything hockey related, its important to not let bias seep into reality. joseph, as you admitted, is not even close to a ppg player in 82 games. 18 goals for formenton isn't bad, but its not like its impressive for a bottom six player. same goes for white.</div></div>

Listen "man", I am accomplished man, I have a wife, kids, had several houses, businesses, etc. I have been to many funerals including my own mother and my best friend, I don't give a CRAP about how my team is doing, it has absolutely no bearing on my rationality.

There was ABSOLUTELY no bias or anything lol. I have simply listed some facts from this past season. I have barely commented on it

It is not in my control if it just went way over your head. Look at the ridiculous things you said :

<em>"assuming the absolute best in terms of potential for every player", "odds are some guys don't live up to expectation", "but having ridiculous expectations for every player to meet their absolute best potential is a trait of a toxic fanbase that is setting up for disappointment."</em>

You should acknowledge that you were totally "off topic" instead of doubling down on this. Or just admit that you didn't read, I don't know.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Preston_Mattesich</b></div><div>brown's production is good for a bottom six player.</div></div>

Well it's extremely good production for a bottom-6 player considering <strong>only 127 forwards</strong> in the whole league have paced for more than him (0.61 PPG) since 2019-20 (3 seasons). This is among guys who played at least 100 games. A total of 495 forwards have played at least 100 games. Does it sound like like bottom-6 numbers to you in a 32 teams league? (32 x 6 top-6 forwards = 192)

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Preston_Mattesich</b></div><div>brown's production is good for a bottom six player, <strong>but youre totally ignoring the two missing wing spots in the top 6</strong>. going back to what this is originally about, in this potential trade, it makes sense to move brown into the top 6 and put kuok in the bottom six.</div></div>

Where am I ignoring that lol? <strong>I am the ONE who put the question marks in the post #6</strong>

Tkachuk - Norris - ???????
??????? - Stutzle - Batherson

Formenton, Brown and/or Joseph and White could be all called to play Top-6 but I'm hoping they actually acquire players like Giroux and Fiala instead

So "<em>going back to what this is originally about</em>", Sens have ZERO NEED for Kuokkanen

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dickie_boon</b></div><div>tkachuk will sign but if this happens, he might be worth more</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>In_it_to_winnik</b></div><div>I think Tkachuk probably get more no? Unless you really believe in pinto. I'd think they try a swap with another superstar player (similar to the laine/Dubois deal).</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OMGKenny666</b></div><div>I'd def take it if I was Ott, but I think Calgary would want more than that for him.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mediumyeet</b></div><div>I agree that he likely re-signs but in the event he doesn't I could see him going to Ottawa to join Brady. They are obviously super close and that Ottawa team looks like they will be good for a long time (especially if they add Matthew) The other team I would guess is him going back home to St Louis which would also be a great fit going forward with Thomas and Kyrou.

The package could definitely be different though (Norris, Brady, Stutzle, Batherson, Chabot, Sanderson are untouchables but I'm sure everyone else would be on the table). I tried to pick some guys that would fit Daryl Sutter's style and keep Calgary competitive.</div></div>

I think you guys are under-estimating this package...

2022 1st round pick (OTT) : this is the 7th OA pick. At least ONE of David Jiricek, Matthew Savoie or Joakim Kemell will be available

Pinto, Shane : blue chip prospect, very HIGH FLOOR. He has a defensive awareness that you rarely see in a prospect. This guy could very well be a perennial Selke contender. I wouldn't trade him for a pick but let's say I would, it would absolutely need to be a Top-10 pick

Brown, Connor : based on Coleman/Lehkonen/Copp returns, Brown is worth a 1st and a prospect. Connor Brown has paced for 50+ pts for 3 straight seasons despite being mostly used as a MATCHUP forward (87% of his overall production in Ottawa came at ES or PK)

Thomson, Lassi : 1st round pick in 2019, it wasn't clear why for a while but since he came over to NA, we understood why they were high on him, worth another 1st round pick

Two Top-10 picks, two first round picks and a prospect...

I mean, how many players are worth that?

I'd be ready to give 2022 1st round pick (OTT), Ridly Greig, Erik Brannstrom, Filip Gustavsson, 2nd round pick (OTT) and Colin White if they need a Center (or Sens would just buy him out)

Ridly Greig stock has continued to rise, he's not too far behind Pinto now. Brannstrom is not worth as much as Thomson but he's only 1 year older and has been developing well. Quietly put 27 pts in 83 games since last season (he was 21). Colin White is a good 3rd line forward, just a bit overpaid, but 3 years left. Gustavsson and an early 2nd instead of Connor Brown.

Tkachuk - Norris - Tkachuk
Formenton - Stutzle - Batherson
Joseph - Pinto - Brown
Crookshank/Kelly - Kastelic - Watson

Like I said in the other ACGM :

<em>That's a very QUICK NO

I wouldn't give up that kinda package for many players

2023 1st round pick (OTT) : unprotected is a no go.
Formenton, Alex : 22 y/o, elite speed, scored 18 ES/PK goals in his rookie season, already pretty good defensively with a mean streak. Worth at least a mid 1st round pick to the Sens
Thomson, Lassi : 1st round pick in 2019, it wasn't clear why for a while but since he came over to NA, we understood why they were high on him, worth another 1st round pick
Søgaard, Mads : clear GOALIE OF THE FUTURE. They were already very high on him when they MOVED UP to select him in the early 2nd round. His stock has gone up, worth another 1st round pick
2022 2nd round pick (TBL)

I'm not giving up 4 first round picks and a 2nd for Scheifele lol

Not only that, Scheifele is 29 years old now, is not really good defensively and the Sens don't need a CENTER, they need a WINGER.

Scheifele is on a great contract but only 2 years left. What happens in 2 years?</em>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Chabotrrorr</b></div><div>If Sens were to target Scheifele, replace Formenton with Pinto or White, replace Thomson with Bernard-Docker or Guénette, replace Søgaard with Gustavsson, and if you think the value isn’t fair, take out the 3rd coming to Ottawa.</div></div>

That's not much better

2023 1st round pick (OTT), Shane Pinto, Jacob Bernard-Docker, Filip Gustavsson, 2022 2nd round pick (TBL)

You also can't say "<em>replace Formenton with Pinto or White</em>", I mean pretty polar opposite values.

Same with "Bernard-Docker or Guénette, world of difference in terms of value...
