I know its Saskatchewan but I'm sure if you were offered 10 Mill you could probably make it work there.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MitchJr</b></div><div>Leaf fans - let’s just relax. Willy going nowhere - only in Toronto - does a player not signing a new deal when he has a whole other year left on his current deal induce panic. Wasn’t a concern with Pasta last year or Aho, Toews this year. Just in Toronto because we are the centre of the hockey universe - well, let’s start acting like it. Chill - it’ll all work out</div></div>
Oh believe me I'm not stressed about it, Love Willy that's my guy. If he stays id be more then happy but I also don't like the scenarios where he's overpaid which will effect our ability to sign other players or the scenario where he walks for nothing.

Nylander to Calgary helps both sides
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Joronto</b></div><div>Interesting suggestion, but TOR is fine centrewise. They just have resigned Kämpf and Holmberg (who is probably the future), Domi is likely to centre Tavares and his cuddle buddy Marner from the London knights and Lafferty can play the position as well. Treliving should and will address the lack of scoring from the wing and the weaker defensive D structure right now if a Willy trade is going to happen.</div></div>
Could also tweak the deal to include a extended Hanifin instead of Lindholm I just picked Lindholm out of the two because I see him as more valuable. Maybe a similar deal with Hanifin signed 8x7 and one of the 2nd round picks becoming a first. Something like that anyway

Seen some people trying to get Both McCann and Wright for Nylander. As much as Id like that I don't see a world where they give up both players especially after the season McCann just had with the contract he's on.

I wouldn't say he wont sign there, he was born there after all lol and If Calgary did offer that extension he would definitely take it. Not many other teams will be offering that kind of money.

We’re going to win so much that you’re going to be sick and tired. You’re going to say, ‘Please, please, Mr. Dubas, we’re sick and tired of winning. Please let us have at least one loss. It’s no longer exciting to win.’ And I’m going to say, ‘No way, we’re going to keep winning, and I don’t care if you like it or not

Thanks for calling Tavares and Nylander stars, they don't get it as much as they deserve. Based on their cap hits and fit for the team Ill take Kerfoot 9/10 times
A lot of people argue that McCann would fit on the leafs 1st or 2nd line but play style wise I don't see a fit plus the minute McCann asks for 5 mill in Toronto he would be in trade talks

Yeah Driedger hasn't been great but all things considered Seattle is barely a team so I don't expect his numbers there to be too impressive. Most leaf fans are just done with Mrazek at this point. I think Mrazek can bounce back but man these last few weeks have not helped his case

Complete Verbeek Deadline Pt 1 Lindholm to Toronto
Lindholm is like a dream get for the leafs but without an extension I don't see it happening. Anaheim wants too much for Lindholm as a rental so I'm assuming the price skyrockets for some sort of sign and trade.
Just don't see a scenario that works for both sides

When? Check where Kerfoot is playing before you comment. Dudes playing 3rd line most nights and some nights the 4th.
Is McCann definitely worth the contract and probably is a better overall player then Kerfoot but the leafs are a top 5 team in the league so I'm cool with it

Your opinion of the Hyman deal or Foegele trade are entirely irrelevant to my comment - Holland has drastically improved the top-9 wingers in Edmonton and it's not open for debate.</div></div>
All these "improvements" only for the team to be worse then last year, really wish my GM was this good :/

So were supposed to be impressed because he recalled a guy from the AHL and convinced Pulijujarvi to fly back to Edmonton? Might as well give him the Jim Gregory now
Could also go in on how he over paid Hyman and that terrible Foegele trade but I digress

He has removed 4 of the 6 and added Puljujarvi, Kane, Hyman, Foegele and Yamamoto, who make a combined $12.7M. He hasn't patched all the holes, but he's done a decent job on the wingers at least.</div></div>

I'm guessing that deal is to move both the Ritchie cap and the Mrazek cap. But the leafs wont have to pay to move Mrazek especially at that reasonable cap hit. Teams are always looking for goalies
