Hawks say thanks but no thanks. Can’t see Hawks having any interest in Klimovich.

Asking Hawks to retain on Jones brakes any deal proposed. Even without retention , I don’t think Hawks bite.

Hirovonen doesn’t come close to Hawks being interested in taking on Reaves, let alone sending anything back.

TBL offseason v8
Hawks would probably view bringing Sheary in as option C or D. But I’m saying there’s a chance.

Lou Gets Weird
It is definitely an interesting trade with the Hawks. On the service I like it . The only concern I have is blocking the prospects the Hawks have drafted from getting opportunities to make the line up.

Is this a Playoff Team
There would be a lot of factors to consider, injuries, sophomore jinx(es), schedules, puck luck. I wouldn’t be flabbergasted if this team squeaked in to the playoffs but think they would get bounced pretty quickly if they were to make it. I don’t think either Stammer or Kane are interested in a rebuilding team anyway. I have my own personal bias & would hate to see Myers in a Hawks sweater.

Changes
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Melander</b></div><div>I was looking at Vlassic as a part of the trade for Marner, but I thought Chicago fans would pounce on me for that. (If I include Vlassic then there are some changes in the defence group) I do you can get a better return for a Marner trade with an extension, but frankly the number of people that with reply with. "______ declines" with no input on how to adjust the trade to be more balanced.</div></div>
I get the frustration with a lack of feedback. I just don’t feel like there is a package that works for both teams. Leafs window is open now & they would need something that can help right away. Hawks are committed to the long term rebuild approach & are unlikely to give a haul to any team right now, no matter how good the player coming back is. Yes, some get impatient but so far Davidson has not shown any signs of that.

In reality, you are asking for the Hawks to give their 2nd pair shut down RD for a prospect that has looked decent in the AHL, a prospect that has yet to leave Russia & a vet that has never hit 40 pts in his career. He is good for 20 to 35 pts. Who would not be able to keep up w/any of the young talent most likely. Square pegs round hole, man.

That’s a bit of cause & effect isn’t it though? When he’s not good with his substances, the results are seen on the ice ( or the vacuum of any results).

Then keep him. Guy has all the talent in the world, everyone knows that . However his attitude is the problem as is his dedication to his chosen career. Some times he contributes some times he just cashes checks w/o contributing. Good luck.
