All in Year 2 Read Description
Love the CBJ trade but not crazy about Yandle. Also need a better goalie tandum than Luukkonen and Johansson to be a legit contender but this team looks better than what we have now for sure.

Loaded on LD youth but could use short term experienced LD. It’s kinda a tough situation at the moment to really know what holland is looking to do. But JP is expected to sign a one year deal for super cheap that’s a value deal oilers really need to fill out roster so he can’t be involved in a deal.</div></div>
Looks like he just signed a two year deal with you guys haha

Zero chance oilers look at this.</div></div>
I tried to trade montour to EDM awhile ago and i was told that EDM was loaded on the right side. Guess edm fans are happy with their D core

you'd be getting three roster players in exchange for one who is coming off a bad year and only has two years left until UFA. I consider this to be an overpay

Dylan strome as 2c

Dahlstrom would be could enough to plug into the lineup though. Should probably ask more for Montour though. I dont even think Adams can convince Pilut to come back, jettison him to Siberia or Detroit, same thing</div></div>
for pilut, he's already signed in the KHL but Adams said he would qualitfy him so we retain his rights.
Also yes, Larsson is > Girgs but the word around town is that larsson doesn't wanna resign.

Feel like galchenyuk is gonna cost a little more than that but i like the idea of him as 2C.
Also if were giving up the 8 OA for mantha we'll need something else from detroit, they got lots of great prospects they could spare for a pick that good

acquire number 2C
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Welcome to CapFriendly!
As you've already learned in this thread, San Jose fans think that Tomas Hertl = Leon Draisaitl. In fact, I think that you have constructed one of the better trades involving Hertl and the 8th overall pick that has appeared on this site, and I would guess that there have been at least a dozen since June 1. To me, 8th overall = Hertl plus the San Jose second (34th overall) and Montour = Labanc, more or less. The problem I see is that with Erik Karlsson and Brent Burns on that side, San Jose doesn't need Montour. Unless the Sharks trade Brent Burns to Dallas, as <a href="/users/RawZuccSauce420" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@RawZuccSauce420</a> has suggested in the past day or so. In that instance, and in conjunction therewith, this trade looks a lot better.
I think that even on bridge deals, Olofsson and Ullmark get a little more, and I'd think a little harder about signing Johan Larsson instead of Girgensons. ? <a href="/users/littlejerryseinfeld" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@littlejerryseinfeld</a> ?</div></div>
Rationale for adding montour is that he played the left side a little bit last season and besides 88 and 65 SJ has nothing on defense.
I would take Larson over Girgs but the rumor around town is that he doesn't want to resign, I was operating on that assumption.
Overall I agree tho

i was thinking about strome as the 2C earlier but went with hertl instead. Dach's strong play this year I guess makes strome available though idk if im sold on him yet.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>notKyleDUbas123</b></div><div>Buffalo wont make the playoffs in a stacked Atlantic. I don't see them being better than Boston, Tampa, Toronto, and Florida next season even with these trades. I think Ottawa will also be a dark horse next year. The wildcard spots will most likely go to the Metro teams too</div></div>
I hear you but Florida always seems to fail even when they improve on paper. As far as toronto goes, the sabres would get a lot closer with this trade and all it would take is an injury to a key player to give buffalo the edge.

I wasn't even familiar with his injury history, good point.
