Trades with TOR and CAR
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Juice</b></div><div>Price seems more than reasonable on Keith. I wonder if the leafs would prefer to offer more in exchange for some salary retention.
I’d be surprised tho if Keith is their main target given the contract term remaining</div></div>
I saw a TSN video on YouTube about Keith to the Leafs so I just put my spin on the trade idea.

I know Ward has played good this season, but I really want to see Delia and Forsberg next year fight over the starting job next season.

You’re right Harper won’t sign with the Scrubs. He’ll sign with the Sox along with Machado.

Yeah, I bet that Hawks are going to be trusting more of the young guys now that Colliton is behind the bench.

I really hope they just load up the first unit and play them 1:30 to 2:00.

I know the Q firing probably wasn’t the best idea, but is anyone else excited for the new line combos Colliton will use?

Lets Try These Lines
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>exo2769</b></div><div>I wouldn't be upset with this. I'm somewhat worried about taking away the Big Kahuna from Toews and Debrincat, but worth a shot.</div></div>
I just figured that Schmaltz will never get another shot on goal, so Q should put him with a few guys that he can pass to that will score on a consistent basis. Kane can make that second line work, plus he seems to have good chemistry with Fortin and we know he has good chemistry with Arty. Saad with Kahun would be a mismatch against other third lines. The fourth line is just all defense and energy.

Murphy and Rutta play different games. Rutta may be more offensive but Connor Murphy is better defensively, and the Hawks need more defense not offense this year.

Winnipeg can't afford to resign Stastny.

New Three Year Plan: Part 1
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>exo2769</b></div><div>I 100% agree. You could probably get picks coming back for Forsberg! Forsberg was a rookie last year and did ok. Anton just needs a little more development.</div></div>
I traded for Darling because he has term and it is at a reasonable price. If you look ahead there aren't many good backups on the FA market, so I decided to get Darling for three years while we can hopefully develop a goalie in the minors to be our future starter.

Big Moves in the Offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BigBeardBurns</b></div><div>Dont think Jenner will get that much. Lookin more at around 3M. Klefbom’s sadly the best D-man Edmonton’s got, so I doubt they trade him for depth. If the Jackets can somehow lose Dubinsky, that deal could happen, but w/Dubinsky, Wennberg, and Dubois, they dont need Anisimov.
Also, I think the Devils can match that offer ur givin John Moore</div></div>
CBJ want AA to play with Panarin, so I'm sure that will still be the case. Also Moore is from Illinois so maybe he would come here to play for his home town team like Wingels.

Hossa & Forsling for Hammer isn't too bad - especially when Hammer will split the second he gets the opportunity which will be in the summer of 2019.. Maybe the Hawks need to add a second round pick tho.
I could absolutely see Hjalmarsson being a TDL acquisition by Bowman tho..</div></div>
ARI also gets Oesterle.

What is so off about the value? Domi and Hartman have nearly identical numbers this year, and ARI get two top ten prospects in the Hawks system.

Next Years Hawks Look Pretty Good
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MG1986</b></div><div>Team looks pretty decent, but I wouldn't have them bank on the fact that Bouchard will be NHL-ready next year. Though his game is solid in the OHL, I'd need to think the Hawks would want to take it slow with him or any top tier prospect and really develop them. Having Bouchard, for example, represent Canada at the World Juniors next year, would give him so much more additional experience playing against best-on-best. I actually think the Hawks would prefer Noah Dobson to Evan Bouchard.</div></div>
I just used Bouchard because he is ranked 9th by Sportsnet, and if there was no lottery the Hawks would be picking 9th overall.

I just think that it will be harder to find a good third line center then to find a winger that can play with Kane ans Schmaltz.
