lol Guentzel> Nylander. It really isn't close either

ideal lines
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pharrow</b></div><div>The top line got schooled last night but that's no big deal. Things happen, it's one game.
Was really impressed with the 3rd line, and the 4th line has been rock solid for several games now. I've also been really happy with the fact that the JJ hasn't given anything up. They are a bend don't break pairing down there. Even in what might have been the penguins worst game of the season, they managed to not give up much and JJ finished a +2. I think they win that game if Letang doesn't get injured.
Having said that, the line that needs fixed is the 2nd line. It starts with Chucky, and to be honest, I think they should try pairing Malkin with Lafferty on his left wing. I think his speed, grit, and nose for the puck would pair well with Malkin.</div></div>
Chucky created the 4th goal if you don't watch hockey

Ideal roster next year
ok where to start. well I don't believe you watch the pens if you trust ZAR on 2nd line, and we might as well stay on the second line with that disgraceful trade for nyquist. A first round pick who is currently tearing it up in the Q. Whats the point of 8 mil cap space?

Does Hornqvist even count as toughness? when was his last fight? he's gritty but so is Tanev and ZAR

Hornqvist Out
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dylan1995</b></div><div>He played well today tho I thought I dunno I think the pens should keep him tbh</div></div>
He gets paid top 6 money for a guy who just can't skate with our top 6. Today he often hurt Geno and Galchenyuks transition game.

moves when fully healthy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bigZ98</b></div><div>Thanks for letting me know I thought I was on netflix or something. Im not disagreeing with trading hornqvist, I think you can trade him to a different team for a better deal that doesnt involve addison. Also you must realize we dont have to resign every single player right? Like Schultz is gonna be asking something would be dumb to pay him. Unlikely he returns to us, Simon isnt getting much of a pay raise, chucky is TBD, and McCann isnt getting paid over 4 if he doesnt improve from what he is now (which isnt bad hes been good). You can trade horny but for a better deal to another team. Hes not so much of a cap dump that you have to attach Addison to him. He still has a good amount of value.</div></div>
Josh Anderson is better, cheaper, younger. The pens have to add to the trade. Addison isn’t all that anyway.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bigZ98</b></div><div>you wanna give hornqvis (heart and soul of this team) to a division rival plus our next best D prospect in addison AND a 4th for Josh FREEKIN Anderson?? Think about that.</div></div>
This site is named capfriendly. In this website some people actually look at the cap and with Pittsburgh having murray,McCann,Peterson,Schultz,Simon, galchenyuk to resign that money has to come from somewhere. Hornqvist was terrible last year , he’s been ok this year but not good enough for 5 million. Josh Anderson is better than hornqvist stop being biased. Also, Marino> Addison . Poj> Addison .

Deadline dealio
Hornqvist is a better 5v5 player.
This right now to me is a reach. This team needs to win at 5v5 to contend for a cup. The problem with Kessel was he lost his effectiveness in 5v5 play. Yes they kind of miss him on the PP but it's the 5v5 play that is more important.
Zucker is alright but to me he is a mid 6 winger.
There is no need to over pay for one.
On top of it you are taking on that cap hit for the next 3 years after this year.
I don't really think that's a wise decision.
There are better players to target in the offseason.[/quote]
With the way Simon is playing it's not needed as I could see Zucker with Sid and Jake. I wouldn't do the first but I'd be interested in doing Hornqvist and a prospect or late round pick. I think Zuckers game would change a lot in a new system. No one looks good in minny

well actually points has a lot to do with the trade value of a player.
