thinking ahead
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Nhl_oilers</b></div><div>I personally see Husso getting a Chris Dreidger type contract. 3 years 3.5M per. They both played well when they were 27, and now Husso is due for a new contract, just like Dreidger was. Husso is not proven to be a full fledged starter in the regular season, and playoffs, and Dreidger wasn’t too. They are both question marks on if they would be a starter or not.. Dreidger was a gamble, and Husso will be too.</div></div>
I thinkk sabres would be comfortable doing that so they would oblige

I watched kane multiple times this past year. Sure he still has the quick hands and IQ in the Ozone...but anything in hockey that isnt offense, he looked so bad with and isnt worth it. His defensive analytics are horrendous and it show when hes playing in his own zone

STOP TRADING FOR KANE.
1. We are finally building right, stop ruining that.
2. Kane is not what he once was and does not hold all that value

no no no no no no no no to Klingberg. Makes zero sense. First he wants a big long pay day now, not in two years. And he is a defensive liability. We have all the offensive dman you need. Dont need him

22-23 Playoff Push
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lenny54</b></div><div>Agreed...I'd look to acquire 1 LHD and 1 RHD in free agency
With Dahlin moving to the right side I'd look at someone like Manson as 2RHD pairing
Might be pricey but Chariot would also bring some offense to the back end on the left side.
Not sure the Sabres would spend that much on 2 D-men.
It would give the Sabres the potential of 3 double digit goal scorers on the blue line.
Manson and Chariot also bring a little grit back there also.</div></div>

But we have a set top 4 already??? Why trade that much for a position we are building from within at. The Manson signing is fine, but why go out and make a huge trade for a dman with OP, dahlin, mattias, joki

keep fans excited
so much wrong here...
1: Peterka???? Krebs????
2: Why are we trading portillo and bryson rights for KK rights?? Let UPL and a vet run it next year then work on getting portillo and levi under contract
3: Asplund 2nd line????? yes his defensive metrics are great, but thats in a 4th/3rd line shut down role. Hes not a top 6 player, why are we putting him there
4: Copp is a good player but not a center in a top 6 role, winger in top 6, can be used as center in bottom 6. But with JJ, Quinn on the way, where does copp even fit in??

Agreed. But honestly its a culture thing and its been great change. They need better goaltending. If quinn and peterka find success in their jump to the nhl, they will be in good shape.
