Thread: Run It Back
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BUFF36</b></div><div>I could see that with Kulich, kinda why I didn't trade Olofsson. Rochester will have some choices to make to, they have a lot of forwards signed.
To me it depends on how Clifton handles more ice time and can Johnson stay healthy and of course the goaltending.
A lot went right for the Sabres last year, having added depth will help. Still not impressed with what Adams did so far this off-season. I will say 95pts. Because of some growth from the youngins.</div></div>

i'm just all in on levi. he was coming in after not having played, acclimated to NHL shooters, and nearly got us a playoff spot. he just has an elite skill set, elite anticipation, and already showed elite shootout ability. a full offseason where he prepares to be the #1 and he's going to be in the vezina mix. UPL will also get the chance to prepare to be the #2 where he plays 30 games, which he did last year when he was 17-11-4. when you have a team that scores like we do and takes chances, the save percentage and GAA have to be viewed differently. like when freddy andersen was in toronto. he played great but didn't have great numbers for that reason. he went to a more defensive team like carolina and his numbers skyrocketed. for us, there are a lot of games like the detroit one from last season. a really good goalie performance may be putting the clamps on in the shootout on 4-4, 5-5, or 6-6 games sometimes. levi can do that for 50-55 games and UPL can do it for 25-30. i think levi goes 34-12-4 and UPL is similar to last season. that's near 110 points.
