When the TITLE says Playing Around it typically means it's unlikely anyone is going to agree with the trade values.

I do love the Edmonton trade. Neal could potentially add some more scoring on the 3rd or 4th line. Unlikely, but has more potential than Neilsen. Costs a little more next year for the Wings, which they can afford. Saves Edmonton some money next year then free's up money when they need to sign RNH. Then it would cost less for the wings in 2022-23 if Neal retires or gets sent down.
Franchise centers are hard to come by so I think Eichel would be worth the amount the Wings send, which I agree probably still isn't enough. Just kind of love the idea of Americans Eichel and Larkin leading the way for the Wings.

Yea, I questioned whether it should be a fourth or fifth. The one thing that makes me think he might be more attractive is the Wings can take on more of the cap hit, he has a $1,000,000 signing bonus that was already paid and a base salary of $3,200,000 that the Wings will have paid a lot of and can eat part of with the salary retention. So he would end up being pretty cheap for a new team. Might make his value go up slightly. But I think you are right, a fourth seems like a lot even with that.

Nosek is a pending UFA, so it would probably be him.</div></div>
I had considered this but I didn't think Vegas would want to lose him, I figure they want the depth for the playoffs.

Much like the Dunn trade, it makes a lot more sense for Carolina to move Bean in the offseason with more value. I do disagree that Bernier wouldn't be a significant upgrade, Canes need better goaltending and you have to remember that Bernier has been exceptional for the past two years with a terrible to subpar defense in front of him. But, the Canes could get a different goalie who has a greater value in the offseason. I'm just not sure they are going to find too many goalies during the season, it's just likely they can find similar value at a much less cost. I'm just dreaming they value Bernier that high and want that value with Bean currently being on a tear.

Yeah, it makes way more sense for the Blues to move him during the offseason. Blues could use an upgrade on the 4th line center. But it's pure dreaming that Glenny could get a return of Dunn.

I'd mostly agree. Staal has played well for the Wings and NBC Sports Network and the Bruins broadcast seems to value him pretty high. Bruins could use some depth at D but I'm not sure they would be willing to "Spare" a third-round pick. But if they are going for it then they might make that dumb of a decision.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ArakinSkywalker</b></div><div>Yeah im pretty sure that's zads value, i don't know much about glendening and where he would fit into the lineup though[/quote
Yeah, I do think it's a good trade.
To me, I think Glendening would be a healthy scratch a lot for the Avs and fill in on the fourth line. Good for competition and he is still very good a faceoffs. More of a "Safety Net" for the 1st half to 3/4 of the season. Then I think his value really comes at the end of the season and in the playoffs. Never a bad thing to have a high-quality defensive forward who can play anywhere to fill in. To me, he can still move the puck really well, has a great backhand, creates a lot of space, kills penalties, always in great shape, leader for the Wings, and could surprise some at being effective on a 3rd line (When necessary). I really like the Avs and think he could provide that last bit of depth to get past teams like Dallas, Vancouver, St. Louis, and Vegas.</div></div>

I'm certainly a big fan of the idea of getting Zadorov. Especially at that price. Think he could be fantastic with Hronek if he continues to progress. At his current status, I think he would be a solid 2/3rd pair defenseman for a long time.
Turris and Dell would be great fillers while the Wings continue the rebuild. I like Duclair a lot but can understand why he wouldn't fit as well. For Stecher it seemed to fit what Yzerman is looking for. I like him, but I don't like the cost. Mostly just think that to get him for 2 years the WIngs are going to have to overpay. He does move the puck really well and drives the play. Which they will need desperately given the current blueline. I think he fits, just don't know if there are better fits. Ceci, Benning, Hutton, Santini, Mueller, and Koekkoek all seem like they fit what the Wings are looking for.

Different Approach
This kind of seems like borderline trolling of Wings fans. I mean "Veleno just had a disappointing season?" a 19-year-old in the AHL that had 11 goals, 12 assists for 23 points in 54 games. TRADE HIM! Disappointing season, we can have that on our 17-54-5 team. We need to immediately get better by getting a 21-year-old who has played 53 NHL games and produced 31 points, a 29-year-old who is gonna be so much fun to see how well he plays when not with McDavid or Draisaitl, and Jesse Puljujarvi who is 22-year-old played int 139 NHL games for 17 goals, 20 assists, and 37 points.
Yea, Yzerman I kind of gave you this team so go ahead and just throw in both first-round picks from two years ago. Jesse had 24 goals and 29 assists in the Finnish Elite league. Zadina doesn't seem like he is getting any better.
