Who says no
I'd imagine Columbus would want picks for Boqvist or have him as part of a quantity-for-quality deal. They have a logjam on RD, so if they move out Boqvist, they don't need a one-to-one replacement for him.

Roster turnover
CB J accept the UTA, WPG, and CAR trades. I'd consider PHI and FLA trades, pass on VGK.
Now, whether those teams also accept is another matter...
I wouldn't sign Lindholm to that (he'll also get more $$$ an term from someone else), and I imagine I'd skip signing DeMelo.

Risky offseason
CBJ would rather have Sillinger, and that contract as well. Ceiling as a High-2C, floor as a solid 3C.

Boqvist for minten sounds better lol. Jarnkrok doesn’t fit our team needs at all.

Not worth it for us tbh. Silly just turned 21. Part of our future or in a trade for a sure upgrade.

I’d trade a third for McLeod definitely not sillinger though

I wouldn't mind acquiring McLeod for those faceoffs, though. Maybe not for Sillinger, but in general.

Whats happening with CF
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Claesson4Norris</b></div><div>The Golden Knights did the same thing with Cap Geek back in the day, when they were still the "Las Vegas Hockey Team" or whatever. It's a sound business practice tbh. The Caps wanted to build out their own internal salary cap department, they could either hire a bunch of new people to build their own version of cap friendly internally, or they could simply buy the already polished and highly functional cap friendly and bring it in house. It's presumably a higher up front cost compared to if they built their own equivalent, but takes less time and effort to actually integrate it, and comes with the added benefit of removing Cap Friendly as a resource other teams have access to.
It's a very common practice in tech. Amazon wanted to get into home security, rather than spend years and billions of dollars developing their own products to compete in the market, they simply bought Ring doorbell.</div></div>
Cap geek was never sold, the owner passed away from cancer

Here's my explanation--
CapFriendly is coming to an end.
To put it in perspective, littlejerry has been here since 2017.
He never had the chance to make a Sabres playoff roster on ACGM.

Easy decline from the Jackets. Boone isnt available. We dont need bottom 6 forwards, so Jeannot isnt much value here.

Offseason
I admittedly don't know Knyzhov, like, at all, but on casual glance I don't think that works as expected for the Jackets. The rationale behind moving Bean is that we've got too many blueliners in that range of ability and age and we need to move on from some; doing a swap doesn't really help.

Honestly, even with that it's still an easy "no" for the Jackets. More Prospect Wingers frankly don't have value here, and we can't afford to lose Jiricek at all.

The don of something new
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>FloppyBiscuit</b></div><div>That's fair if it's been reported he is not being traded, but all I was encouraging you to do was to take the homer goggles off... I can see that's going to be more of a challenge than the Sabres making the playoffs, though.</div></div>
Oy gevalt. Quit trade negging on our behalf; we don't need to be associated with that nonsense. Samuelsson is definitely worth more than that despite the injury issues; the guy's already a quality shutdown guy and he's only 24. There's no point in trying to force a deal that makes no sense for the other team.
