Again, you can still make trades about what you think your team should have done before the deadline as i said, its just for fun its not real lol

tbh thats not the point of ACGM, you can still make ACGM of what you think the team should have done or what they should do in the off-season etc.

100%, you can put a little of it on the fact we no longer have kessel who was the puck controller along the boards but even with him last year we had so many short handed goals against. Tocchet did a fantastic job with the PP, Recchi has not impressed me as of late.

Wasnt the right decision then and still isnt if you ask me. The PP has not been great for 2 years now so we are missing something for sure.

I think you keep rust on the 1PP. Dont know if you can justify putting your team leader in goals on the 2PP. But..... I do want zucker on the 1PP and i think he should replace horny. I love horny, and he is a fantastic net front presence, but he often misses on shots from the point. I would like to see zucker in that spot as the slot trigger man.

Yup, am not opposed to the idea of trading muzz or jarry but only for the right trade. I dont think Detroit has any players that can help now because they obvs arent trading bertuzzi or mantha. Maybe Fabbri?

85 MSC- Letang out Pietrangelo in
fans turned on him quick because unless like McCann he was making close to 5mill and being an actual liability out there. McCann despite the recent drought only makes 2.25mill and plays a good defensive role while also coming in for essentially brassard, sheahan and a few non-significant pick. Chucky was traded for kessel so his expectations were way higher

i thought it was pretty obvious we were talking about the current penguins team that includes Crosby Malkin and letang and not the one from the 90s. But go off. Make yourself the victim. Honk Honk clown

When Pit still dontrolled possession, allowed fewer high danger chances, and allowed fewer shots than the opposing team during those losses that isnt a bad defense/injury issue that is a you have a **** goalie issue.
One goalie is in the top half of the league for starters in all stats meanwhile Murray is perfroming worse than an AHL call up you have to have Downs if you think Murray is that great to return that. You are forgetting Murray was trash for most of last season. He had a very long stretch where he had more games allowing 4+ goals than he had wins dude is a trash goalie and the new Cam Ward. There is a reason why your entire fanbase wants to get rid of his ass for Jarry, you arent fooling anyone. Dude sucks and him posting worse numbers than 50+ other goalies who played this year is a testament to how bad he is.</div></div>

Not even worth a 3rd rounder. Murray is awful on a great defensive team he will struggle to even have a .50 sv% in chicago. When he cant stop a beach ball on a good team and will be a disaster for a worse one. Murray is a overrated trash goalie.
The team would just re-sign Lehner or grab Markstrom in FA rather than give away Saad, Murphy and a 2nd while taking on a 5 million cap dump in bjugstad for an AHL calibre goalie.</div></div>
lol okay. Not like the penguins defense has actually been mediocre since the dumo injury and terrible since marino injury. You probably think Crawford belonged in the top 100 NHL players looking at how good you think he is. Murray had a 0.919 sv% on a team that hand JACK JOHNSON playing regular top 4 minutes and GUDBRANDSON a regular in the line up. Stop before you embarrass yourself more bro

I feel like i have seen this ACGM before, Idk if you did that one too but again, this doesnt help pens. Saad is a UFA at the end and is not worth Murray. Murphy is paid too much for a 3RD especially Marino needing an extension in the offseason and he has 2 more years

you have to understand why I gave him that. He is still a very good player that wont cost too much. Sure, with a 6 year contract the last 2 years may suck? But who cares? Cup window will be done by then and we need the best shot at winning now. Thats why I gave him that contract. Other teams could probably match that contract if you gave him maybe 3 or 4 years but 6 is too much for most contending teams for a guy in his early 30s but who cares if youre the penguins?

You have to realize that despite being RFAs, they still need money. At the end of the day, Simon will make just over 1mill. Sure its becuase all his points come from playing with sid but he still gets points. Rodrigues' last contract was 2mill. Depending on how this season goes he will probably ask for around the same. he has looked good with his speed and forecheck so I have good hopes for the guy. Its not just throwing money at players. You cant expect both of the to sign for league minimum. Not how negotiating works.

88 Mill Cap
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CHUG</b></div><div>That is a deadly top six right there. Not sure you'd be able to sign the goalies for that low, if the cap went up that much they'd probably ask for more. Would look for a better 3RHD as I don't think that third pair is NHL caliber.</div></div>
I think Rhuwedal is servicable enough. Schultz isnt the greatest defensively and he still does okay in third pair role. The top 4 will eat majority of the minutes anyways. The thing with goalies is that Jarry cant really ask for much. Murray signed for 3.5mill after winning two cups as a rookie, Jarry (although he has played well) only has one year of being a good goalie. So he gets a 2 or 3 year deal to show what he is. Murray has been a little inconsistent and that sort of hurts his pay. 5 is a bit of stretch I know but max I would pay him is 6. If he wants more then I am okay with trading him. I dont think goalies should make more than 6mill maybe 6.5mill. After that its just shooting yourself in the foot by signing them to more. I think the forwards are dangerous enough that the 3rd pair being meh and top 4 being incredible could be good enough to make this team really good.
