Also saying I know nothing is funny. I explained why the "leverage" you say you have is flawed (only in Toronto). I told you your golden boy prospect is overhyped which is on brand for your fan base, and the fact you thought Patrick Kane would only net a low second is hilarious.

Ty Voit is ranked 10th on the athletic for your below average (18th) prospect pool. So at BEST a C prospect. Nothing there. And a late 2nd. That's also pretty low level. Kane will net a 1st, that's not like a debatable thing. Dubas WILL be fired if they don't get out of the first again, i dont care what you say. Fans like you will be demanding change. It shouldn't be as difficult to build a competent roster as it has been for the leafs. Losing culture.

Kane would be a 1st and voit. Voit is not a good prospect and Kane might have said Toronto but that doesn't mean they only give up a 2nd. Dubas has more on the line here than the hawks and despite Kane saying he wants toronto or NY, Davidson could just say no to a deal and Dubas might be fired. Dubas has more to lose hence the leverage isn't as much a factor here.

Moves if Kane and Toews decide to stay pt 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>If Toews/Kane or even Larkin of Wings agree to a trade this TDL, they could still resign with Hawks (Wings) in the summer. That would be a way of getting more assets</div></div>
I think if they stay in Chicago it will be to be blackhawks their whole career and moving for even half a season ruins that.

Need a little little more for the hawks. Remove the 3rd of the trio of prospects nobody wants (Abruzzese, Der-Arguchintsev, and Abramov) and change the 3rd to a 2nd and we might have a deal.

You need a competent 3rd line an a solid defenseman, not some random overhyped guy you toronto fans love. Toronto Fans and Ranger fans are so dumb, which is makes it fitting because their organizations have won a combined 1 cup since 1970. enjoy a game 7 loss to tampa.

Despite that it's still terrible. McCabe is worth 2 2nd's at least and a 2024 protected 1st with 2mil retained. Lafferty is a 3rd/4th round worth. That prospect sucks and kerfoot is a cap dump. So another 2nd and there could be a deal, but the hawks could do better. Enjoy your ****ty prospects that don't turn out that you overhype and your meaningless desperate franchise. Maybe the hawks can sign matthews in 2025 when he's fed up with Toronto.

What a Kane Trade Might Look Like
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Garak</b></div><div>Yeah, because of their aging players and the thin prospect pool. I don't think BOS should spend big because they are already the most complete team in the NHL by a pretty large margin and they have a really great team chemistry going on. You don't want to mess up that chemistry. If they need to relieve some of the stress off their older players they should be bolstering the bottom 6 and adding depth with players that can eat some of those minutes. They don't have to expend all of their high end assets in order to do that. Those assets are going to be VERY important to BOS in the coming years. I mean, if BOS is offering and Kane and Toews want out and are willing to go to BOS, we'll take it. But I very much doubt things will unfold that way.</div></div>
Totally agree with not messing up the chemistry and don't see them making a move other than a depth move or something like that.

How much would Chicago ask? My guess is a top 15 pick, just like DeBrincat and Dach, in a better 2023 draft. Maybe something like OEL.</div></div>

Prospect Rankings
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Wadejos123</b></div><div>Looks pretty close. Colton Dach is definitely a center, and I would have the RD in this order: Mitchell, Regula, Rinzel. Rinzel has room to jump ahead but he's quite literally 4 years away from the NHL. Glad to see someone finally give Kaiser some respect. I understand having him below Vlasic for now but he might even be ahead. He's been awesome at UMD and going to go pro after this season. I also view Nazar as a RW in the NHL but we'll see what the hawks plan is as time goes on</div></div>
Where would you slot Colton Dach on the list of Centers, I'm going to keep Nazar there for now, though I do agree he's likely a wing, kind of like how Reichel is kindof a center but ideally a wing.

The return was light, maybe awful, but it probably has to do with DeBrincat's future contract decision not being made. If he had said he'd extend in Ottawa (I wouldn't lol) then maybe the hawks would've gained another asset. My point is I'm more interested in the fact this allows us to be worse, allows kane and toews to come forward and want out, which piles more assets that might not have happened. A lot of the assets we will gain started with this decision.
