Duclair and horvat ised to be linemates when they were kids. Main reason Benning does this trade is to provide Horvat with a linemate he is familiar with

Ottawa declines, but not because the offer is bad it just doesnt fit our future projection</div></div>
Only reason Benning makes this trade is for horvat. Otherwise it's not really worth it for the canucks.

I cant see couturier being traded straight up 1 for 1 for any of the guys on my list

If the penguins move Jugs it's for cap space and prospect pick or LD help. They don't need wingers. Maybe Brisebois, a pick. Their LD prospects are either not tradeable or 1st round picks so not much to choose from there that is reasonable.
While this is a landing space, the cap can't come back.</div></div>

Barzal on the best D team in the league led them with 65 points, and when on a more O focused team scored 85 points. Petterson has similar if not the same value as Barzal and both of them have more value than Boeser.</div></div>
Barzal and boeser have SIMILAR value.
Petterson is on another level. Barzal does not compare. Just ask Gretzky. Lol

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Canuckel_head</b></div><div>Damn the Nucks look good!!!!
But One of Tanev, Sutter or Eriksson will have to go because as it stands once Roussel comes back someone on the roster gets shipped to the AHL which could just be Fantenberg or Biega, but the team will be fined for being over the cap.
Benning is going to have to lose something to move out one of those guys. What and Where? No clue. All three have a form of NTC in place. Other option would be Baertschi, but not many would be interested in giving pick(s) for him.</div></div>
Lievo goes when Russell is back. Fits just under the cap

Owner say 50th anniversary must have playoff hockey
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RC333</b></div><div>1) Management never said that
2) signing nyquist is good but maybe a little too much money.
3) khaira isn't worth all that, he sucks
4) Leivo had a great season with the canucks, he's not someone you trade for hamhuis who's about to retire.
5) way too much for eberle, canucks should stay clear bcuz he wasn't in the lineup for some islanders games bcuz of how bad he was playing. He had a terrible year aside from the playoffs when he just started to play have decent</div></div>
1. Management doesn't have 2 . Teammates already nicked named horvat "CAP"
2. Skinner just got payed. Caps going up when Seattle comes. Nyquist is consistent he's worth it.
3. Kharia doesn't suck. He's like a Hansen. I great role player .
4. Leivo isn't special. He's expendable. With 2 rookie LD you need a dependable vet to back them up. Plus it's well known hamuis still has connections to canucks management. Could be a manny malhotra effect
5. Eberle gets paid an extra 1.5 mill a season for taking a short term contract. He's can easily get 6m×4y

Eberle was never out of the lineup for poor play. He got hurt and missed some time. Definitely not worth $7.5M/year though.</div></div>
Over paying eberle because he's getting short term. Horvat needs a scoring winger. This is just a bandage hopefully virtanan gaudette or draft pick can fill that roll in 2 years.
