Are we catching on to the pattern here?
WPG/CBJ play Physical Tough Playoff Hockey 82 games
How's that been on Laine?

MTL plays more of a "Floater " style for his type of players or "The Pacioretty Play"
We're more about Speed, Transition and Drawing Penalties off big hits.
Laine will be a lot less beat up in MTL which is saying something lol

But you held onto Anderson until you got no value in return was the point i was making by closing my statement with it to reflect on</div></div>

Dude, give it up. You're debating with emotion and your gut and zero facts. He had covid a couple times, his dad died, he had a weird elbow hyperextension, he strained his tricep practicing faceoffs too much, he took a dirty high hit in the final seconds of a game that was essentially over, he took a slewfoot and fell awkwardly, and now he's in the player assistance program. These things don't go away with a change of scenery. Despite all that **** he scored at a 38 goal/ 82 point pace and a 33 goal/ 78 point pace in his last two seasons. He has been just as good or better than he ever was in Winnipeg.

The Jackets also haven't been nearly the kind of physical team they were under Torts in years. They're a team that plays with speed and transition offense. Their biggest shortcomings are their abysmal special teams and their defensive play. Trading away a player like Laine who can actually contribute on a PP would be silly.
