Sillinger makes for a better 3C long term than he does a 2C. There's also no guarantee KJ will be able to adapt his game to make him a viable top 6C option. They're much better if they can get Boone out of the top 6 and into a 3rd line wing role going forward imo. They already have plenty of top 6 wingers, they need a talented 1C that can elevate a line to a true 1st option instead of what they've been trying to work with.

God I wish people who haven't paid attention to how his game has developed over the last 3 years would stop acting like they know who he is. It's getting ridiculous.
