Who's the one quality prospect you give up for a center then? Because respectfully Hartman and Ek aren't carrying you to a stanley cup

I disagree. I think Addison will be part of a package at the deadline. O'rourke and Lambos are still a couple years away, and Brannstrom should sign a cheap contract this year which will help you short term with the Parise and Suter buyouts

Honestly yeah I didn't put too much thought into this. I thought it might make sense because you have the cap and I wanted a 4th round pick lol

You're getting a top six guy who can help your powerplay, a solid prospect in Jarventie who's putting up pretty good numbers in the AHL. The second will be a high second as well as a third. Most likely, you won't be able to able to resign Fiala long term this summer</div></div>
Brannstrom is just on the cusp of being a good NHL dman and you will see by the end of the year. DJ Smith just didn't realize he's good and took him 2 years to do so. If it makes you happy, I can replace Jarventie with Ridly Greig.

I am not fixed on any of them being legit top 6 forwards, but they do have the abiity.
Greig: might not have offensive upside, could just be a third liner
Jarventie: Boom or bust, if he booms then he's a top 6 for sure
Sokolov: Consistency and will be 22 soon, so not tons of development left

This is more long term, where I think Kleven could be an effective third pair defenseman

LW : Stutzle, Tkachuk, Greig, Jarventie, Formenton, Crookshank, Daoust, Kelly, Reinhardt *
C : Norris, Pinto, White, Lodin, Ostapchuk, Johansson, Kastelic
RW : Batherson, Brown, Sokolov, Gaudette, Boucher, Latimer
LD : Sanderson, Chabot, Brannstrom, Kleven, Mete, Aspirot, Romeo
RD : Zub, Bernard-Docker, Thomson, Guénette, Roger **
G : Søgaard, Gustavsson, Murray, Meriläinen, Mandolese
* Abramov as a wild card
** Stuck with Zaitsev?</div></div>
Yeah white could flip flop. I honestly put paul cause I was sick of all of the LWs we have. My god do we need more RWs. Also Jarventie over formenton is something I haven't seen before

Way better off throwing that package at a better centre like Hertl</div></div>
Because DJ Smith isn't a fan of him. All signs point to Branny out of town by next year, especially if the Sens have to pay him. Lindholm is a top six centre and could even move to RW if Pinto is good enough for the 2C

This is if they blow it up which is certainly possible. One more year of Gaudreau, Monahan with two more years along with good but not high end talent prospects. This core has proven that they are not good enough

Keep in mind this is next year, where Brannstrom could be a top 4 guy by then. White is still decent but if Calgary is in a rebuild and needs to reach the floor then White could help with that. Brannstrom totally have the potential to hit 40 points, plus who's the QB on the PP? Valimaki and that's pretty much it
