Blockbuster with Minny Washington and Arizona
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lancebmx</b></div><div>Washington doesn't retain, Detroit does.
Washington is dumping Mantha and getting the cheaper Kubalik.
Washington is getting Khusnutdinov, good centre prospect, and Minnesota's 2nd for Kuzy. Kubalik would be a nice addition on Backstrom's wing in my opinion.
Your evaluation on Keller is a little skewed. He's really good and would get a good haul. No one is trading unprotected picks when they could be a fringe playoff team. Johansson is a really good D prospect, playing above his draft position. James is also a good prospect, just drafted in the early second round. If you think about the Debrincat trade, which seemed light, a in high first, second and third. This package is more than that, protection could be changed to top 5 as well.</div></div>
There is no good haul for Keller because he is never going to be traded. He is just scratching the surface of his potential. He has the potential of a 45 goal 95 point player, similar to Jason Robertson and Tage Thompson, if not more. DeBrincat and Meier aren't comparables because they aren't as close to Keller in terms of skill and potential level at all

Blockbuster with Minny Washington and Arizona
Why is Washington trading Kuzy with retention to trade down? They aren't getting even close to enough to justify that. Also Arizona declines without even thinking about it. Keller is worth a top 5 pick along with a ton of A level prospects, it wouldn't happen in a million years

Make the AAV for as long as he can remain an RFA and its a very interesting idea. I don't think the Canadiens should do it though

That package is tiny for Saros. Kupari and the second covers taking Peterson and so all it is is a late first and vilardi

Andersons worth much more. I would want 2 firsts, Brisson, and Cormier for him. Through in Theodore as well

What about if you attached a fourth or fifth? Maybe even a third? Trying to gauge value from Sabres fans, IDK if I was too low or too high

Sale is a perfect fit for the system but I see where you are coming from, but with Bolduc and Thomas along with the cap to bring in more centers, wouldn't it be likely that they don't look at C?

I just say a Hawks fan saying that if Chicago has 4, they would 100 percent take Michkov and I think most people agree, just because there isn't a Russian market doesn't mean you should pass on Michkov. He is an incredible player

buffalo gets no 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jwg314</b></div><div>Why would either team do this? WPG is not heading in a direction that they should give up their next 3 firsts. Fantilli would instantly put Buffalo into contention in the next year or two while their D grows. Just a strange trade.</div></div>
Buffalo doesn't need Fantilli whatsoever. They have their top two centers locked up and have multiple elite center prospects (Kulich who will likely play wing, Ostlund, and Savoie). The last thing the Sabres need is youth. Stanley cup teams aren't built from a purely young team but instead the incorporation of veterans to the youth or vice versa. Buffalo has absolutely no need for Fantilli but instead get loads of value as well as filling needs to build a compete now team

We wouldn't trade the superior RhD Sean Durzi for the inferior RhD Tim Liljegren. (An argument could have been made about Durzi for Rasmus Sandin based upon the teams' respective positional needs, but not this exchange.)
Even if the trade deadline hadn't passed, we wouldn't trade either RFA for UFA Wayne Simmonds, let alone both of them.</div></div>
Liljegren is better than Durzi and I am not remotely a leafs fan. This post isn't meant to be taken seriously so don't
