(ANA/PHI) - Drysdale, 2025 2nd (ANA) for Gauthier
I would say it's fair.
Anaheim now have Gauthier, Zegras, Carlsson and McTavish. All of them are 22 and younger and have elite potential. Plus Anaheim have a abundance of young defenseman coming soon.
Philly add a elite right shot defenseman which they desperatly need. With York, they will form their duo of the future

No way he gets so far without getting claimed. With their poor defense I think San Jose gets him.

I just saw that he played with 6 different 1st overall pick (Yakupov, RNH, McDavid, Hischier, Hall, Dahlin) and now likely an 7th one in Bedard.

I would say the aav is corect (I would gave him 5.75M) so not much of a difference, but he got to much term.

Does Severson trade make Boqvist available
I think he's worth a late first.
I'm a Habs fan and I wonder if he would sense for us in echange for Florida's pick. Out right side is pretty weak, and Mailloux and Barron are our future top 4 on the right, but I think Boqvist as the higher upside.
It's gonna be interesting to see where he would (could) go.

It does indeed make him available. Now it's to know his value. Yes he was 8th overall in 2018, but he didn't make much of a impact yet.
I thought that with all the injuries last season he would be the main guy in defense, which hasn't happened he wasn't a 20 mins defenseman last season.

If Mtl trade Price to Arizona they will have almost the same amount of money in LTIR then in their regular line-up that's crazy.

Lines for Monday
If they're lucky enough they could draft Bedard. And as previously said it's about getting a new core. Right now Pettersson and Hughes should be the only untouchable and Hoglander, Raty Podzolkin and maybe Studnicka are parts of the future.

I would do the trade for Meier, but not Karlsson. The last trade makes Buffalo with only 2M of cap space to play with while Thompson and Samuelsson extansion comes in, plus you need to resign Cozens, Meier, Jost and Okposo (I mean they didn't name him captain only for one season right?) and not to many money coming off the books.

5.5 is a good value for Kuzmenko, however it doesn't make sense for Vancouver to keep him, when they could have trade him for something.

Can someone tellse if Boqvist in Columbus would be available and what would his value be.
I mean he was drafted 8th overall in 2018 I know he missed a lot of time becaise of a injury and could help Mtl right?

Have at it with another RHD not named Clarke and I’m sure a deal can be made.
Also Anderson is doughtys #1</div></div>
Yeah my mistake I realised it should have been Walker instead of Roy. There's too many right handed d-man (Doughty, Roy, Clarke, Walker) so he's the odd man out. But I still think Arizona will get an 1st, prospect (young player) and a actual player weither it's a cap dump or not. In that case Walker could actually play a role in Arizona as the oldest d-man so he will be like the big brother for the younger guys.

Ducks next season
If you're Anaheim GM of course you give Zegras an 8 year contract.
If you're Zegras agent you take a shorter contract.
He doesn't have huge offensive numbers yet because with Terry right now there's the two offensive force in Anaheim right now. His agent will wait that Anaheim surround Zegras better i order for Zegras to have more points and then receive big money.

I would usually say no but Coyotes found someone who wants to play long-term with them knowing their situation plus the fact that this contract help them reaching the floor so I'll said it's a good contract even though I would have give him 3.75M/season instead.

Habs offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CAL28</b></div><div>I like the team, I think it's realistic, good job !
I would put Armia in instead of Byron and Poehling instead of Pezzetta.
Also, if Price is on LTIR, I think Hughes will trade Allen to a contender team for picks (ex : Oilers) and use that pick to get a younger goalie (as Georgiev or Samsonov or Husso).
What do you think?</div></div>
I think Allen gets traded at tradeline to a team like Edmonton. Montembeault did a pretty good job and I think they want Primeau in Laval for one more season before being called. I think they still view Primeau as Price remplacement and putting someone like Geoŕgiev or Samsonov won't Primeau a chance to become the starter.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Subbanator7667</b></div><div>Petry is gonna be traded for a pick and prospect not for a player we have no use for</div></div>
I think JVR could be useful for Mtl: 1) that allow Caufield to return to rw while still having a power forward on the 1st line. 2) JVR term ends at the end of next season, while Petry has still three more years.
3) Having the power forward on the 1st line allow Anderson to go to the second line with likely Wright, so the protect and help him like a big brother.
Plus with the season he got his value is low I wouldn't expect a big return, maybe a low second and B-type prospect.

Not close in term of value and doesn't make sense for Anaheim. They already got Drysdale, Shattenkirk and Manson at the right side and they don't need Skinner since they already got Dostal as a young goaltender.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aecliptic</b></div><div>The last thing the Rangers should be using their 1st round pick on is Chiarot. They have far more pressing needs than him.</div></div>
Besides a lhd and a top 6 winger and maybe a more solid backup, Rangers are solid. Tbh I wouldn't pay a 1st on Chiarot, but since most reports suggest he might gets a 1st round and the fact that Chiarot was listed as the number 1 tradebait on tsn, that suggest that he'll get a 1st.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>rell1k</b></div><div>I mean i wouldnt pay a 1rst for a 3 pairing D . Dont quote me wrong he would be on 3rd pair with the Rangers
Is it me or Toffoli value went up while he only had a good season last year ...
If im Wild ill take that , looks fair imo.</div></div>
Like I said I wouldn't pay a 1st also but as we speaking it seems that this is a return Mtl could get.
Toffoli stock went up, just as Chiarot this year. I mean last season Chiarot was okay but not wow. Now with Weber out and Petry playing so bad, Chiarot is our number 1 defenseman this year, just like last season Toffoli was our #1 forward.

They play in the same division. So if Subban turn into a Vezina trophy caliber (wink wink) they may detrone the Leafs in the division (again wink wink) and then another first round exit.
