<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NMAvsFan</b></div><div>I don't think Middleton is worth anything near a 1st; there should be some "good enough" options in UFA that will be cheap and won't cost them anything if they're looking for a 3rd pair minutes guy. They'll need some more cap space for a scratch and call-ups so they'll need someone making Jack Johnson money to be that 6th D. I do like that first trade and I appreciate that you accounted for Landy coming back. Chatfield is, to me, a good target for the Avs.</div></div>
I forgot to link to it but this is a continuation of a previous AGM I did where the avs acquire him at the 24' deadline, hence the first

Yeah he's been really good this year, but avs will need to shed money, and getting out of his deal before he declines is smart IMO

Avs always do some sort of AHL swap at the deadline and I think I'm higher on Neuchev than most so I'd love if he was the target. Hopefully Buffalo has so many forward prospects they don't even notice he's gone lol

Intentionally short sighted. You only get so many more kicks at the can, and every year going forward it will be more difficult, everyone is a year older, Mikko's contract, then Cale's contract, you're in the heart of your window- you don't worry about Sam Malinski. Just like we don't worry about Justin Barron anymore

Edit: I get the tdl, sell off hype around Lindholm but, we need to be honest about his production and ufa status.</div></div>
Obviously wouldn't want to trade Malinski but if that's what it takes to get done I'd be fine with it. I based the package on the Horvat deal last year, and obviously Lindholm isn't having as great a year and is a UFA but the Avs can't waste this MacKinnon season, and everybody knows 2C is the glaring issue, go fix it with the best option available. All the other trades are tinkering

3 Way
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AntiAnalytics</b></div><div>Idk, i don’t think it’s a bad deal for us
We also get back Tatar & a 2nd
I think the real issue is whether or not we think we need a “star” RD or just a “solid” RD to play with Power
So far, Jokiharju has been ok this year, if not good
If Samuelsson can get back to playing how he did with Dahlin last year, then we could be in decent shape
Obviously that’s all a bit uncertain, as is our goaltending
Even though UPL has played well, it’s still questionable (at best) whether or not he’s the type of starter
So do we spend the assets on a RD like Andersson,
or use these type assets to get a goalie, like Saros ?
Or do we just stay the course & keep developing our young talent ?
I frankly think any of those scenarios are a possibility
And while MANY Sabres fans are desperate for a big move,
idk that Adams is- he probably isn’t
But i guess we’ll see</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Dr_Invictus</b></div><div>I'd say the value of the return is fine for Calgary, although they need center's in the pipeline more than RW. Olausson doesn't seem to be a fit. Anderson is a top pairing RD on a very friendly contract for 3 years, so if they were to trade him, I'm sure it would be for a complete rebuild.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bast</b></div><div>I don't hate that return for the Flames. That said, I don't see Andersson being dealt mid-season. Another consideration is that the Flames need someone to play D next year.
Our D pairings for 2024 look like this:
Weegar - Andersson
X - X
Solovyov - Gilbert
If we're headed into a rebuild, I think it would be smart asset management. If we're retooling, then a hypothetical Andersson trade will be used in a trade for a top line forward.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MeetYourMakar</b></div><div>CMAC hangs up and blocks the number... two 1sts, Behrens(a 1st value), O.O(recent 1st), a 2nd for an overrated Middlestat?
This doesn't seem like a smart move.
He is producing but would not fit the Avs or Beds style of play and not worth the c.t.a. Still a lazy player.</div></div>
Alright all three fanbases are essentially saying no which tells me the value is basically right lol

Buffalo already has Dahlin and Powers on the right side of their defense. No need to add Andersson, even though he's a hell of a player</div></div>
Would allow Dahlin and Power to both play their proper side though.

Regardless of the value those pieces may possess,
it’s just not what we’d be looking for imo
Even the 1st isn’t super appealing since it’s likely late in the round
We’d be looking for a solid, defensive RH defenseman,
who fits our timeline with his age/contract
So someone that’s 26-27 years old- AND under contract for at least 3 more years (at a reasonable price)</div></div>
There is only 5 players in the league that fit this description btw: Cernak, Whitecloud, Marino, Carlo, Rasmus Andersson

1. Where will Colorado finish in the ranking?
2. What will most likely be the PP?

4. Who is likely to have a bad year in point production?
5. How many games each goalie is likely to play?</div></div>
Thanks! I'll guess:
1. First or 2nd in the division with Dallas
2. PP1: Makar, MacKinnon, Rantanen, Johansen, Drouin. PP2: Byram, Toews, Colton, Tatar, Nichushkin
3. I think Colton & Drouin
4. My guess is Wood
5. I bet Georgiev goes >57, And Justus and Frank get a fairly even split of the other 24
