Why are you trading Gallagher? Looks like there is plenty of cap space to keep him. If not, find a cheaper alternative to Larsson.</div></div>
I'm trading Gally for cap space to sign Suzuki next year...

MTL Realistic
Domi want 5 for 6,8m that will close at 6m/3y or 5,7m/5y....in both cases better deal than Ehlers.

MTL Realistic
Why giving so much for Ehlers...
Ehlers have 6 pts more than Domi in carreer...
Domi can play center
Domi can play though
Domi versus Ehlers and maybe MTL can add a 3rd or Mete...but that it

We have to use one of the best cap salary situation
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jpsnow13</b></div><div>Sooooo a weak LW and no money to resign, Danault, Gally, Kk, Poehling and Armia.
Perfect plan.</div></div>
Danault 6m/6y. +3
Gally 6m/ 6y. +2,25
Armia 4m / 4y. + 2,4
Kk 3,5m / 3 y. +2,5
Poeling 1,5m / 3y. +0,5
+/- 10 millions
Next year saving
Tatar. 2,4
Kovalchuk 1,2 (switch for rookie Evans)
Hutton. 2. (switch by Primeau)
Weal. 1,4
Cap space 3,2
+/- 10 millions
So yeah good plan
Thanks
And at least we can trade Byron

Which line do you prefer
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ColonelX</b></div><div>-If you think Sanderson and two "Who's this guy" prospects are worth Tatar, a third line PK, a decent prospect and two second rounders please no.
-Robertson holds a lot of value in Dallas (As he should), I see why but don't think that trade works. Making the third a second may change their view but I think we could get better value elsewhere.
-Luke Green has played a total of 38 games throughout the past three years so why? Smith's interesting but trading a pick, steady third pairing D and a bottom six forward for an NCAA guy that might not even sign with us when he's ready? Once again, why? To fit Hall's contract? Why would I give him 63M$ when Tatar's doing the same job for half the price??
I double down this statement.</div></div>
Tatar never won the MVP

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ajp_18</b></div><div>Neither Columbus or MTL are making that trade. Columbus has no use for Kulak and Depending on the Domi contract I doubt they can afford him if he’s over 6.5 mil. I’d have to guess Domi is closer to 8x8 at this point.</div></div>
Domi is very far 8x8.... before Covid and a flat cap , he was 6x6... But now he will be under 6m per year

That's a myth......the players pay the taxes according to the principal residence .... all the Montreal players have a secondary house in Montreal......so the taxes of Quebec have no incidence on the choice of their destination.

The Marner dream
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gmurrayt</b></div><div>You took on Lucic's ridiculous contract and the following year you will not be able to afford Domi. Pretty simple. You need to sign 7 more people next year with 8.5 million. Even if cap goes up a couple of million, and you buy out Lucic, you don't come close to having the cap space to sign Domi, and you make matters worse with Lucic's contract. You are making the Montreal fan base look like idiots.</div></div>
Next year : (+4,37m)
Cap increase + (3m)
Mason buyout clear (1,37m)
Goalie:(+0,850m)
Primeau instead of Kinkaid (+ 850k)
Defense: (+3,2m)
Mete bridge contract 2,2m / 3 years (- 1,5m)
Trade Petry (Fleury or Brooks take his spot) ( +4,7m)
Murray Weber
Chariot Fleury/Brooks
Mete Juulsen
Forward: (-6,05m)
Domi best case scenario if he had a great season 8m/8 years (-4,85m)
Lucic buyout 1st year caphit is (5,5m) so I save only 500k (-500k)
Bring a 700k player for Lucic loss (-700k)
Cap + Mason= + 4,37
Goalie. =. + 0,850
Defense. =. + 3,2
Forward. =. - 6,05
Cap space. =. + 2,37 m
I still have 2,37m to send you tickets to see my incredible hockey team with a long term vision

Buyout Lucic + cap increase is enough to give Domi and Mete extension......or worst case you trade one player in the roster
