Yeah Habs aren’t doing that, We aren’t desperate to dump Anderson, and until we are, we won’t be making a trade like that to dump him

Of course you arnt. You believe every single rumour that makes you feel better about the habs and their bad players, right?</div></div>
Hey man I get what you’re saying. You could be right, but I’m just basing my info off of articles I read. That’s all. I get your mad because your favourite team hasn’t been relevant since 67. But don’t mean you gotta speak none sense. Worry about your team actually doing something in the playoffs for once

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BigBallsBriere</b></div><div>Originally I had it like that, I changed it because I wasn't sure if Hayton would have a spot in MTL's top 9. Also Kyle Davidson mentioned they can't finish bottom 3 again next year, which to me means they plan on making some moves this offseason. So I sent Hayton there.</div></div>
Montreal might not have interest in Hayton, but In my personal opinion I would rather him than the late 2nd. Either way it’s not a bad trade for Montreal

For all you know that interest could have been "we'll give you a contract that is just as bad for a different type of player" also you legit have no idea if there was actual interest or if montreal manufactured it to get him in the rumours. and clearly you didnt watch him play once
He is a cap dump
no he didnt
the habs want to move him because he sucks and costs too much
Look it up, those are facts, weather you like it or not</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JaredOfLondon</b></div><div>ive watched plenty of habs hockey and he sucks out loud, he is the worst hab defending by a mile and that's saying something. He allows constant shots and chances against and has the turning circle of a drunken tugboat.
if you watched any habs hockey you'd know this</div></div>
I watch every game. Doesn’t change the fact that he had literal interest from other teams this past deadline. Reason Habs didn’t move him is because our young defenceman play very well along side him. All because you don’t like him or think he sucks doesn’t change what I’m saying.
He’s not a cap dump
He had interest in other teams
And Habs didn't want to move him because he’s good for the young guys
Look it up those are all just facts. Wether you like it or not

Convenient that montreal didnt want to move him when no one actually wanted him</div></div>
I agree he’s not what he used to be, and he’s 100% not with a 1st now. But he does not have negative value. If you’ve actually been watching Habs hockey you would know that a lot of our young Defensive players have actually been playing good along side Savard, which is why Montreal didn’t want to deal him just yet.

Like you already said, he’d have to 100% come with an extension. He’s a superstar player but it’s just a high risk high reward type trade for Montreal

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Subbanator7667</b></div><div>He would be the best player to put a Canadians jersey on since Lafleur. It's a massive package but frankly a 100 point player gets that kind of package.
It would also leave the Habs with all their young dcore, Caufield, Slaf and Newhook. That trade would instantly put the Habs in playoff contention and they'd still have cap space to add significantly.</div></div>
Wouldn’t we better off waiting to see if Drai hits the open market and make a bid for him there? It’s just a risky trade for the Habs with the state their in right now
But I do agree with a lot of what you said

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Subbanator7667</b></div><div>If Leon came with an extension then the Habs do that in a heartbeat.</div></div>
No they don’t. Drai can’t even win with McDavid and that oilers roster, What makes you think Montreal would give up all those assets(and don’t forget we’re a rebuilding team). If drai couldn’t win in Edmonton he definitely won’t be able to win with the roster Montreal has
If Montreal wasn’t rebuilding and were in win now mode, sure they make that trade. But we’re rebuilding, we aren’t giving up valuable assets for Drai

Keep Savard until the deadline, we could get a team desperate for a physical D and get a possible late 1st. I might be reaching but we did get a 1st for Chiarot.
