Can he go a full season anymore? No, but you could be pleasantly surprised to sign him and try to get 30 games out of him. No risk, really. If he can't play then dump him on IR, so what.

Kane is probably closer to skating but doesn't really fill a need for BOS?

CHI would probably prefer to send something back to OTT with Dickinson rather than use a retention slot, but yeah this is about right value-wise. Dickinson isn't a star obviously but I think there's going to be demand for him.

Mrazek probably has value to a contender as a backup - yeah he's played better than "backup" so far, but based on his career body of work I doubt anyone wants to go into the playoffs with him as their #1. Maybe a kind of #1a situation.

Perry and Foligno both figure to be appealing at the deadline, but with guys their age you gotta see 1) if they can keep up a good start over a long season and 2) if they are healthy come the TDL.

Feels like CHI would move Jones for the right deal, but retention would be a deal-breaker. The player is probably available but nobody is going to kneecap a rebuild by tying up a retention slot for 7 years.

Mrazek could have some value as a backup on a contender but LAK doesn't seem like the right fit.

Turcotte is rapidly becoming a guy who will end up being swapped with some other team's bust in the hopes that a change of scenery fixes them both.

Honestly this season's a wash and I don't mind watching all of the guys mentioned here just stay in the NHL and take their growing pains.

Wouldn't stun me if they seek something longer with Vlasic *if* he keeps it up all season. Defensemen will only get more expensive every year, plus there's plenty of cap space right now. Trying something like 6x6 would be risky for the team but could pay off if he turns into a legit top pairing guy.

Not ready to give him a deal after 4 games, but he's looking good so far.
