that one i've quoted to show that thing might be different is litteraly the one the Athletic based their one. Nice try tho. We in MTL are litteraly reading almost everything written on this sport cuz this is a part of our culture. For those of you who think that 37 is off value as I stated need to read the link i've offered. I even have read link of old essay on the cap market (or team market that were speaking of Vegas in 2009 while everyone was dreaming about quebec) stating about a 2024 season at 92 million cap (there was no pandemy when this was writtent in 2009), the guy now work for IIHF or in finance if I do remember.
You have opinion that the Athletic might be rightful, but I concur that the actual chart is not as firm as you guy think it is.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RedWing9119</b></div><div>Dude just stop. Those charts are based on actual trades. And for the guy who said teams don't have draft value charts, wtf. That may be the most uninformed thing I've ever read on this site. You guys just sound ridiculous. Pout some more. Oh also for the clowns saying " this draft is different": the picks we"re trading back are also in this draft so that's another dumb argument.</div></div>
you fit yourself for those argument as well. Comeback when you will have a chart cuz i've linked one previously. Those picks might be this year but I tell you that if you want to make pick swap you'll be closer with a 5th + 37 vs 9th + 17th than what is offered ( 5th+31th) because tha draft is really something. It your opinion against mine, and I'll be happy to see writers write that in few days.

Crazy Draft Day
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Campabee</b></div><div>I guess you don't know how actual GM's work, they don't really use pick value charts to determine the value of picks. Those were made by sports analysts to give a rough idea of the historical data to fans and media. GM's don't actually use them since every draft and every prospect are different. If they did use them you would see trades that balance picks (like 10th + 101 for 26th + 37th + 165) instead of just 10th for 26 and a 2nd (these are just random numbers I threw out there for an example) my point is if GM's used actual pick value charts they would squabble over every trade moving multiple picks on both sides until the teams were trading exact values</div></div>
souche don't try to tell them that writers are off the board again they will be pissed ... !

Yeah but no ... PLD will play in MTL. LA might bite at Hellebuyck, but as far as i'm concern PLD won't play in California next season.

It's actually the complete opposite. I've always been in Zegras's corner. I'm just not going to act like he's the next McDavid, like a lot of Ducks fans do.
They are both very interesting players. They both face very similar QoC with striking similarities to their QoT. Although Zegras got caved in this season while Keller did what he could with what he's given.
There's a reason I said Zegras could improve there, just <em>right now</em> it's clear Keller is the better candidate. Is he a scoring winger? Sure. But Zegras may as well be with how bad he is in his own end.
I'm also not an Arizona fan, so not much for me to enjoy there.</div></div>
