Just my anecdotal opinion, don't have any statistical analysis to back that up. Regardless, there has been no evidence of Ullmark in particular slowing down</div></div>
It doesn’t matter in this case. If the return is middling picks, I’m keeping him and letting the successful goalie rotation continue. His value to winning is higher than a late second round pick and other secondary assets.
I don’t even bring this deal to my leadership team to discuss unless I’ve gotten indications that both Lindholm and Hanifin want to sign

Was about to say, zadina is better than Anderson right now, will be cheap. A 5.5 x 3 cap dump is gonna cost more than a third and a 7th without factoring Zaddy Daddy into the deal

24-25 Ducks
The reason Boston has been so successful over the last two decades is that they've stuck to their identity.
This move is not one they would consider.

Really... I don't think it's a sure thing they accept it even with the picks taken out.
I feel like people don't understand how good Brandon Carlo is at hockey.

Practice Lines from yesterday
I’m hoping Marchand/Coyle/Frederic turns into something. I’ve always felt two grinders like Coyle/Frederic could open something up for Marchand. The open issue is the amount of d zone starts , but I think that only gets mentioned when players are struggling to score.
I don’t understand the Geekie fascination by Montgomery, He has not shown the offensive upside of Poitras. He’s OK and worth his salary, but I would be trying Poitras in between DeBrusk and Pasta

Kuzmenko for JDB
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Danny_Canuck</b></div><div>That would be a sell low mistake the Canucks won't make.</div></div>
This is a sell low for both teams. I wouldn’t have even remotely considered this deal for Boston at the beginning of the year.
Kuz can score, but give me JDB’s all around game every day. He’s streaky, but there is little doubt that he goes on a heater as soon as he’s traded.
I’d revisit Kuz In the offseason if free agency doesn’t go as planned, but I don’t see either team considering this.

Question for fellow bruins fans
Boston wouldn’t do this. Bruins are already paying Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm $16,000,000 total, Hanifin likely gets atleast 7 million. Not sure the Bruins want $23,000,000 in just 3 defenders.

I was scrolling on the main page and saw Fox and Matheson next to one another and felt compelled to mock it. Tbh, I'm really surprised CF wanted to include it on their platform.

We know we’d have to pay for him to exit free agency. I think it’s safe to say that it exceeds Bo Hovart’s considering there is cash available at the end of this free agent class

Garland
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>hairyberry</b></div><div>I know Garland isn't very valuable but he is worth more than a pure cap dump imo. I think he will get a similar return to Bjorkstrand (3rd + 4th, and that's with no other salary going back the other way).</div></div>
When Bjorkstrand was traded there were far more teams that had the cap flexibility to take on his contract, currently there are about 6/7 teams that even have the space for Garland’s deal. Of those teams, a couple like Detroit and Buffalo need to be careful because they have bigger deals starting next season (Dahlin, Power) or young players (Seidel/Raymond) who will require new deals moving forward.

Nobody is taking Lauko lmao. Esepcially if Jenik clears all the way to Boston, nobody would take Lauko</div></div>
Lol. No he isn’t and and doesn’t. Boqvist is on league minimum.
They are 25 24 23 respectively and all put similar numbers in AHL. Geekie and Boqvist are ahead of him in terms of development and experience.
Like I said. It’s likely someone will claim him. It won’t be Boston. They don’t have a spot on the roster for him and to far down the list anyway.
