<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Userunknown</b></div><div>Being the offseason one never knows.

I don’t see a move where Boston trades Carlo and gets better. But if they are concerned about his concussion history and find a right move that benefits them and their cap situation who knows. He’s not really a piece Zona looking for in a Chychrun move though.

As for Swayman I would have whole heartedly agreed with you up until recently. While i think it would be a big mistake to move him, but considering how things have played out this year, how tight against the cap they are going to be next year, how well Bussi and Keyser (before getting hurt again) in the A…they might consider it for the right move. Could save a couple million in cap space which will be huge, and they don’t have many other contracts to move to help that out. If they can add some significant draft capital or high end prospect. But i don’t think they can get a return that would be worth trading him, at least currently.

I don’t see them moving either. But to say it’s 100% no….ehh.</div></div>

I felt the same way until recently… I mean what Ullmark is doing this year is nothing short of 2011 Thomas. For all of the Bruins player development woes, they’ve done well in net, and I think they might be better off with an alternative solution that keeps the goalie tandem under 6.5M + the assets they could get for Swayman.

I also really like Carlo… just dont think his value will get any higher than this off-season if he makes it through the season healthy playing top 4 minutes on a cup contender. Seems like an opportunity to capitalize. I do agree that he’s not exactly what AZ is looking for though. Maybe Lohrei instead? I’d consider it, just have to make the money work. Also less palatable to those in the thread that aren’t familiar with his potential… lol

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DefenseFirst</b></div><div>Well, congrats. If I recall correctly, the first 8 made the team worse short and long term. This is the first one where the team probably gets better.

That said, one more time for the people in the back: The. Boston. Bruins. Do. Not. Need. A. Center. Horvat just isn’t a fit no matter how bad you want it to be.

Also, for crying out loud, have you watched a game this year? You’re scratching clifton? Frederic and Clifton have been great this year. No need to move them out of the lineup.</div></div>
I wish I could watch the sweat drip onto your keyboard as you try to put together your first Armchair GM team instead of just disagreeing with every moderately exciting move lol. If you were my AGM you’d be fired faster than Pierre McGuire.

I agree Clifton has been great. Really love his game too. I’m just sick of watching our sub 5‘10 defensemen (krug, hunwick, Ahcan, even Gryz tbh to name a few) get dwarfed in the playoffs. I think Donny has made some huge improvements in the form of Lindholm and Forbort making the back end bigger and I’d love to see more of it. Not worried about mobility with mcavoy and Hampus playing how they are.

As for Frederic, I just think he’s a guy you have to be willing to move on from if you think you can get better. He’s been so fun to watch this year, but still, I’m nervous if we’re relying on him as a top 9 center in years to come. If he’s someone you view as untouchable, especially when Horvat+extension is a possibility then idk what to tell ya.

Inject nonsense over the top “go for it” trades into my veins all effing day. Go Bs.
