Are you kidding? Canucks get 2 young wingers on good deals for a Ufa, a borderline top 6 dman and. Wood player. And the leafs get their rhd and a gritty winger they need. And Canucks keep ferland

Strome had ONE decent season. Before anyone should talk about a $7M contract (William Karlsson got $5.5M and will get another deal between $5M and $6M) let's all cool our jets and see how he plays next year. Based on a repeat of this season, that is worth$5.5M to $6.5M max depending on term.
Cat is a 40 goal scorer but he's also very one dimensional and not a 1st liner. While he's awesome, you are suggesting he gets more then a lot of guys that have more a complete game; i.e. Draisaitl at $8.5M or Stamkos ($8.5m), or MacKinnon ($6.3M)...all players that offer more then but in addition to goal scoring. Cat is great, but not in the same category as those guys. A $7.5M x 3 year bridge is what he's worth right now.</div></div><div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawk</b></div><div>Crow is not the player he once was and will be 35 next year. Stamkos took a discount 3 years ago. Mackinnon signed years ago as well. Drai was seen as a overpayment till this season. And he plays with mcdavid. Mcdavid made letestu a wanted player for the pp and pk. Kane is one dimensional too.
And not sure you can read for what season this is for.

Hawks don't need to retain nearly that much for Anisimov if anything at all.</div></div>
Crow is a starter. And a good one.
Strome is young and wants a bridge deal. Bit high because its short. And the cat is a 40 goal scorer

Hawks
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawk</b></div><div>LOL Strome had 1...count it 1....season that warrants MAYBE $6.5M. He's slow, can win faceoffs, doesn't provide enough net front prescence, and needs to work on his 2 way game. Not only that, he will need to follow up this year's stats with another outstanding season in order to get $7M which given his body of work and recent play, doesn't call for that. Are you watching the games? Where has Strome been the last 10 games; 4 points in 10 games and all assists with 3 being secondary assists. Further evidence how a 1 year breakout compares; William Karlsson got $5.5M after 26 more points then Strome has, and he's a 1C. Everyone is saying he'll get a longer term bridge for $5.5M to $6M after this year and he has 2 more points then Strome so very comparable. So basically, you're suggesting that Strome is better then Wild Bill? Please say no otherwise you may as well try to convince me unicorns exist next.
Perlini hasn't deserved a raise. You can say all you want about players wanting raises but the reality is, a lot of players don't get them. A guy who's spend plenty of time in the press box and hasn't even 1 point in the last 5 games, is lucky to get another chance let alone a raise.
Show me one time this year Hayden played center....it's like you don't watch the Hawks, because he's played nothing but wing and that's when he's played. Plus you've got him on the 3rd line and a raise? LMAO The guy has spent 1/2 the season in the press box, played 3 games the entire month of march. You seriously think he'll play ahead of Kampf? And here's the best part, Hayden has a whopping 5 points and you doubled his salary.
Cat is a really a one dimensional dynamic forward which is fun to watch and important to every team. He's a top 10 goal scorer, true, and that's entirely valuable but he's not a ppg guy, doesn't play a strong two way game, doesn't win board battles, so exactly what makes you think a guy like this is deserving of $9M on a max 8 year contract? Matt Duchene, a ppg player and a center which is more valuable then a winger, is projected to get $8M to $9M. Panarin who's over a PPG player is expected to get $9m to $10M. Debrincat is going to get a bridge likely at $7m to $8m...this has also been widely speculated by the chicago media.</div></div>
This isn't for this season.
And you're taking this way too seriously.
Also wild bill isn't deserving of a huge contract. And perlini strome and the cat play well together. And Kane is one dimensional too.
And panarin and duchene have years on debrincat.
They almost reaches their ceiling. Debrincat hasnt

Perlini at $3M are you serious? ($1.5M MAX)
Strome is not getting $7M ($6M MAX)
The rest I can't even address...this wild speculation with no logic is exhausting to read any further.</div></div>
Strome 6?
Are you kidding?
And perlini isn't going to get the same exact contract he has again.
Players want raises.
And haydon does play center
And debrincat is one of the top players already. No way he signs for 8.
The cap goes up every season. Englander got 7 this year. Debrincat is better and can get more. And will get more
