That's from Perry in his end-season briefing.

Having the chance of playing with his childhood team and playing with one of his biggest mentor is something that you considerate for signing a cheaper contract that your real value.

Which players Habs should choose at the 5th overall pick
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SlafCaufZuki</b></div><div>It's simple.
We can all agree that Bedard, Fantilli and Carlsson will be gone by 5. Michkov SHOULD be gone by 5, but if some GMs buy into the Russian scare, he could drop. If he's there at 5, he's a must pick. He's one of the most skilled players the draft has seen in years, you'd be crazy to not take him at 5 if you're the Habs, a team that needs more elite talent desperately.
If Michkov goes top 4. You take either Will Smith or Zach Benson. I think Benson is a bit better overall, but he's small and Smith is a better fit for the Habs. So I'd be really happy with either of them.
Picking players like Reinbaucher or Dvorsky over Smith or Benson would be a disaster in my opinion. We need to go for talent and upside.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Big_Papa20</b></div><div>If Michkov is there I’m for it. I’m willing to wait and Bobrov is close to the situation so if Smith is gone I don’t think it’s far fetched</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HockeyIsMyPassion61</b></div><div>Michkov if he falls to 5th, Or Will Smith with his connections to Kent Hughes.</div></div>
Agree with all, if Michkov is avalable at 5th, I will take him.
My second choice will be Smith.

Lottery Bedard
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>danielcoe</b></div><div>remember though if we get bedard we dont get dubois and that is bad news for winnipeg.....then they have one less suitor and their chances of getting something good for dubois goes way down.</div></div>
Bedard can easily play as a wingner.
Best example of that: the 2010 Flyers. They haved Richards, Carter, Briere and Giroux who are somes centermans but Giroux and Carter played as a wingners.

Detroit's not surrendering picks for Allen, We can just resign Nedeljkovic instead.
I'm sure Carter Hart is just dying to leave one crap team for another. And besides that doesn't get him anyways. Detroit is linked to him as well and would easily blow away what you're offering here.
And fat chance of Alex Killorn signing that lowball offer. Killorn will get 3-4 years in the $5,000,000 to $6,000,000 per season.</div></div>
Just look what I wrote about the trade (Red Wings one)
Kent Hughes will never accept a 8M deal for Caufield & Dubois.
Killorn will likely accept that for playing with his former mentor (St-Louis) and his childhood team (MTL)
You means it's a good scenario for Hart, especially when your HP model was on this team (Price) ?

To Be Filled In Later
I don't see Montreal targeting a Dman with the FLA pick, especially when they already have Guhle, Barron, Harris, Hutson, Xhekaj and Mailloux who are all good prospects - young players, with Matheson and Savard.
I belive they will target a young goalie with the FLA pick, like Hart, Askarov or Knight.

PLD and Caufield contacts aren't realistic.
It's not lucky, it's a completely unrealistic fantasy.</div></div>
Kent Hughes will never give a 8M range contract for Caufield and Dubois, he cleary know that will be a overpayment for them. He want to establish a ''Bruins style winning culture'' and one of the part of this type of culture is to paid the players with somes fairly - underpayment value.
About theses trades, all of them can be interesting. The Hart & Dubois trades represent 100% the fair value of return that can be made by other teams who are interest on them. The Hoffman & Edmundson trades are very interesting because i'm 100% sure than somes teams will be interest for theses players with a 50% rentention + a 1 year left on their contract + without a delusional price. Somes teams will likely been interest for adding a 2nd goalie for their team and Allen is a good option.

I have a big feeling that's will be a team like MTL who will gonna have Bedard and the Hawks will win the 2nd overall spot.
I don't see Kane returning to Chicago for the moment, and I don't see Laffy sign a offer sheet with Chicago.
Also, the Domi return to Chicago is 1000% realistic.
